As a child I wished to be a song writer.
Singing and writing are both ways to get the words out.
I'm a writer, a poet even.
But lyrics are a foreign language to my pen.
A different sound to my ink.
Writing has its own sound,
But lyrics are the music.
I wish to turn my words into music-
But I never learned how.
I know music: I know writing.
Not together, but both of loving.
Let me create poetry that can be lyrics.
Lyrics come from a soothing voice.
Lyrics and a beat become music.
Music becomes a masterpiece.
A masterpiece I hope.
