SCARLETT WAS ALONE. Her current housemate was out for the weekend with his team trying to devise a tour in hand for his album, which was a roaring success. It was too early in LA to phone and chat to either Zendaya or Camila, and Scarlett felt it wrong to contact Harrison or Jacob when she had dumped their best friend a mere month ago.
There was simply no one to speak to.
Today was a lonely day. The day marked her ex-boyfriend (not that any of the public knew, it was kept private the whole time) and best friend's birthday. Only he wasn't here to celebrate it. Scarlett thought hard about how much love she had for that one man, sat curled up to her knees on the head of her bed, staring off into the distance of her walls and door. No one ever came as close to being the one as he did, and it ended all because Scarlett had some silly lifetime crush on a boy that was now her husband legally.
