Maya's POV

It's was past midnight and Lucas isn't back yet. I've tried calling him all night but he has yet to answer.

Farkle is pacing around my room calling all of Lucas's college friends to see if they know where he is. Riley's trying to comfort me and keep me from crying.

"Where could he be?" I cried.

"I'm sure he'll be home any moment," Riley comforted sitting down next to me. She looked over at Farkle, "Any luck?"

"He's not picking up my calls," Farkle sighed.

"I told you he's not answering anyone," I whined.

"His friends haven't heard from him either," Farkle finished.

"Should we call the cops?" Riley asked.

"No," I declared.

"Why not?" Riley questioned.

"He's not missing he's just trying to get away from me," I sobbed.

Riley pulled me into a hug and Farkle sat down on the other side of me. I hugged both of them.

"Thanks guys," I mumbled.

"For what?" they both asked.

"It's always been like this even before Lucas moved to town we were friends," I explained.

"It's crazy how long we have been friends for," Farkle smiled.

"I love you guys," I laughed.

"I love you too," Farkle and Riley both said.

I heard Farkle's phone start to ring from the table. He ran over and answered it, "Hello."

"Do you think it's Lucas?" Riley asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"Oh hi Mrs. Friar," Farkle said into his phone, "Where's Lucas?"

Riley and I sat there waiting for Farkle to say something back to us.

"Oh," Farkle said looking towards me, "I'll tell her."

"Tell me what?" I shouted.

"Yeah text me with an update," Farkle said, "Aright bye."

He hung up his phone and sighed.

"What did she say?" I yelled.

"Lucas....he's..he's at the hospital."
