Shawn POV

It's a Saturday morning and the rink is freezing as I watch Skye glide down the ice and steal the puck from the opposing team before sending it to her teammate. Her team makes another goal. Five more minutes are on the clock and her team is close to winning. I hear the girls yelling for Kelly to take the puck next. The way they work together to make the next goal possible is flawless and the buzzer sounds. A whole mass of girls in black jersey's glide over to each other and have a group hug. Their cheering and slapping their sticks against the ice with joy. Skye looks at me and skates away from her teammates and leans against the wall. I give her a thumbs up.

"Great game!"

"Thanks! I thought we were going to lose." She says dragging her gear out to the car

"Are we finally doing this?" Zoë looks at me with a smile playing at her lips. " We're planning a wedding, and actually getting married this time. Nothing will get in the way of this, I promise you." She smiles her lips connect with mine briefly as Skye comes downstairs. " Are you wearing one of my shirts?" I ask recognizing my tour merch. " It looks cute." She says and pulls her long brown hair up. " I don't know how to tame the curly monster that is my hair." She says and flips it forward so it covers her face. A collection of water droplets collect on the kitchen tile creating a small puddle.

" Did you even dry your hair?" Zoë questions. " I feel like the hair dryer makes it brittle so I'm air drying it." She flips it back and takes a hair tie off her wrist and pulls it up. " Ta-da!" "Wipe up the puddle you made." Zoë nods toward the paper towels. Skye groans before cleaning up her mess and joining us at the dining room table.

"We have some big news," Zoë says. Skye looks up her hazel eyes cautious. " Not a baby right? I don't want a younger sibling." Skye says her face looking concerned. " No, not now." She lets out a relieved sigh. "Oh, so not a baby, what is it?" " We're getting married, we were planning a wedding when you were like six but with dad's job and everything we had to postpone it and now is the perfect time since your old enough to remember it." Skye looks shocked,  "Seriously? That's awesome! when is the wedding do you know yet?" She asks her hazel eyes bright with excitement. "Oh, do you know where it's going to be? I'd love to travel."

"We were thinking Colorado," Zoë replies. "I love that," Skye says looking between the two of us.

" Looks like we're planning a wedding."

"When will it be?" Skye asks. "We're thinking this summer if we can get everything in order by then." Zoë looks skeptical. "If you still have everything planned out from the first time you got married then maybe, but weddings take a lot of time to plan stuff,"  Skye says, I nod in agreement.

"Do you want to go dress shopping with me?" Zoë asks Skye narrows her eyes. "I'm not a girly girl though."

"You lived in princess dresses as a kid." Skye sighs. "Can I go tux shopping with dad?"

"I mean if you want." Zoë shrugs looking a little hurt.

"I'll help pick out the wedding colors," Skye says seeing the look on her mom's face. "Okay that sounds good, and if you change your mind about dress shopping." She half-smiles."Can we do that now?" Skye asks her eyes hopeful. "Pick wedding colors?" I question. "The whole theme of the wedding is based around that, if we pick it now everything else will be pretty easy." Skye reasons.  Sure, let me just clear the table okay?" She nods excitedly and helps Zoë clear the table.

Zoë goes upstairs and returns with the wedding binder she created from when we were planning our wedding the first time around,  she sets it down on the table with a loud "thud."

"What's this?" Skye asks looking at it curiously."I created a binder from when we were planning the wedding when you were six." She explains. "Oh." Skye looks over the binder. Zo flips to a  page labeled Colors

I have down teal and white from the first time, do we still like that idea?"

"Well when is the wedding?" Skye asks.

"May of next year, saying it would be this year was me underestimating how time-consuming this is." She says, turning a page and writing the date down.  Skye nods, "Alright so summer colors." while the two of them discuss colors I go upstairs to get my computer.

"Shawn?" Zoë yells. "Comming!" I jog down the stairs and back into the dining room. "Do you like the colors teal and white?" She looks over at me. "Yeah, honestly I don't care whatever you want," I reply logging into my laptop. "But you have to care so your tux doesn't clash." She points out clicking her pen mindlessly.  "What about rose gold and grey?" Skye suggests. "I like that." "Me too," Zoë says writing it down.

"Okay so colors, we have an idea, and our budget?"

"We don't need one," I say My fiancee looks over at me and raises an eyebrow. "Yeah, we do, just because your rich doesn't mean we need to spend every dollar you have." Skye nods in agreement. "Alright,  you set the budget then." She nods flipping to a different page and scribbling something down.

"Location?"

"Colorado," she says not missing a beat.  I nod googling wedding venues in Colorado and scroll. "Do you want to get married in the mountains?" Zoë nods. "I love the mountains. "Do you want a typical wedding venue? Like something in Aspen or Vail? I've been to Colorado but I'm always in Denver performing so I don't really know it that well.

"I'll look some places up, I don't want the usual wedding venue or somewhere that's easy for paparazzi to show up." She says. Ske's eyes look nervous. "They won't crash our wedding, I promise," I assure her. "Okay, so we have an idea of a location and wedding colors, now the guest list."

"Which can wait cause someone has school tomorrow," I say looking over at Skye who groans. "C' mon I can stay up a little longer."

"No Shawn's right, go get ready for bed we can continue this tomorrow." She sighs before reluctantly going upstairs. I shut my laptop and look at Zoë who's smiling. "Were going to get married." She squeaks. "I know, I'm so excited for this wedding,"  I replied getting up from my chair. "Me too, it's going to be perfect, just like I imagined." She says in awe.   I kiss her temple before going upstairs to our room.
