Zoë pov

"All of these places are so fancy like I don't want to break the bank just trying to find somewhere to get married," I mumble as I scroll through photos of beautiful landscapes.

"But Shawn is kinda rich." She points out. I sigh"I don't want us to spend a ton of money on a wedding, it's unnecessary" I reply.  I  click on another wedding site and scroll through the list of locations and groan.

Sophia clears her throat, "I uh know this place isn't normally for weddings, it's where Lillian went camping last summer. It's in the mountains and  the view is breathtaking." Her voice is timid as she pulls out her phone to show me pictures.   "It's like in a bowl and you're surrounded by mountains," She explains showing me a picture of Lillian holding a painted rock by a teepee looking structure.

"What's the teepee for?"

"Oh, that's the yurt, where they do arts and crafts." She says. "Can I?" I nod toward her phone. "Yeah, of course, I can look up their website too."  She says. I slide my computer over to her as I scroll through her photos. "Do you have a person I can contact and ask if I can have a wedding there?"

"I do." I watch Sophia scroll through her phone and feel a bubble of excitement. I look up the website for the camp and nod. "Is it a winner?" Sophia asks watching me hesitantly. I rest my hands on the table and nod. "I'm going to look into it." She smiles. "Great, I should pick up Lillian from school but text me if you need anything." She says getting up from the table.

An hour later I hear the door unlock and perk up."I found where we are getting married." I burst as soon as Shawn walks in the door. "Oh?" He tilts his head to the side an amused smile on his lips. "Yeah it's a summer camp that Lilian went to, Sophia told me about it and it's absolutely stunning Shawn look," I turn my computer.

"Where is this?"

"Near Vail."

"So in the mountains?"

"Uh-huh and we can have our bridal party stay on-site in the cabins or in hotels but I just thought it's not your traditional place for a wedding and it would be really cool." He looks at the pictures and nods. "I like it, I'm going to shower cause I'm really sweaty but we can talk more about this okay?" He kisses my temples and goes upstairs.

*Three Weeks later*

Flight 203 to Denver now boarding. "You sure Skye is good with Niall?"

"You think something would happen?" Shawn asks laughing a little. "I mean..."

"Niall's my best friend he'll take good care of her, and she loves him, he could look at her and she'll bust out laughing," Shawn replies my phone dings. I sigh and see it's a selfie of Niall and Skye with the message under it that they are going to mini-golf which makes me laugh.

"What?"

"He's taking our child to mini-golf," I reply. "Amazing, let's hope she likes to golf and we'll have a hockey player and a golfer," Shawn says enthusiastically.  I roll my eyes and rest my cheek on his shoulder. "First class is nice huh?"

"Yes it is,  I can't wait to see the venue it looks so cute."  I  pull my phone out my pocket and look over the pictures again. "So this is a summer camp?" Shawn asks. "Yeah, they're a camp from May to August they made an exception on their schedule for the wedding which was great.

"When is the wedding again?"

"May fourth," I reply matter-of-factly.

"May the fourth be with you," Shawn says. "We're getting married on Star Wars day?" "Yes." He giggles. "I tried so hard."  I sigh rolling my eyes. "I remember you were a big Star Wars fan when we were kids,  so surprise." He smiles and squeezes my hand. "You know you love me." Shawn chides as the plane takes off.   I flip through the movie selections as Shawn puts his earbuds in and rests his cheek on my shoulder. I sigh contently. We're really getting married in a year.

We land in Denver a few hours later, I call Skye telling her that our plane landed as we wait for our luggage.

"How much longer is this drive?" He whines leaning against the window. "A few more hours? Let's see google maps tells me to keep driving up the mountain so I guess I'll follow it." Shawn nods looking out the window. "Let me know when you get tired of driving."

"I will."

"Is this it?" I'm in awe looking at the rocks all around us. "Looks like we're in a bowl oh my gosh look at the Yurt!" I marvel at how cool it looks. "So where would the reception be?" Shawn asks looking around the place.

"I was thinking this open area next to the Yurt and the dining hall be the reception," I say as a middle-aged woman walks over to us. "Zoë and Shawn?"  She asks. "Yep that's us we were just looking around, it's beautiful up here!" "Thanks this is the first wedding we've had on the ranch." She says. "Oh really? We're very excited." I  glance over at Shawn who directs his attention away from the yurt. "I'm Helen I'm the manager of  this place."  "Shall we see the cabins and the dining hall? I was thinking you can have your first dance in there." She says smiling.

"So how did you hear about us?" She asks looking between the two of us. "My friend's daughter Lilian  was a camper here last year."

"Oh yes, she's one of my favorite campers." She says as we walk into the dining hall. Their's long tables scattered all around the room and open space by a fireplace. "This would be amazing for our reception," Shawn says holding my hand.

"So when is the wedding?" Helen asks her eyes sparkling. "May fourth," Shawn says proudly as he wraps his arm around my shoulders. "Perfect! Camp starts a few weeks after so we have time to convert the place to a wedding back to summer camp." She says enthusiastically.

"Also this is next year right?"

"Yep." We walk out of the dining hall and down a littler gravel path to the cabins. "If you don't mind me asking, I feel like I recognize you... I have a teenage daughter and she's always showing me pictures of different bands and musicians and..."

"I'm Shawn Mendes." He says laughing a little. "Oh my goodness! I took my daughter to your show a few years ago and she loved it! This will so get me mom points." she laughs. "I'll take a picture of you two together so she believes that you met him." I offer.  "Really? that would be fabulous."  She pulls out her phone and hands it to me. "Stand over by the cabin," I instruct as I look around for the best lighting.  I take a few photos. "You got it?"

"Yep, your daughter won't believe it." I joke. Helen laughs. "I know she's going to freak out.  I was going to ask is there anything you need me to do for the wedding?

"I don't think so." I look behind me and see their's a lake and gasp. "Ah, you can see the lake from the back door of the cabin." She says and opens the door leading up inside. In the middle of the room is a large round table and a sink to the right, next to it is a door leading to the back of the cabin where you can see a ropes course and the lake.

"Do you know what your wedding colors will be?" Helen asks. "I'm thinking of rose gold and grey."

"So you listened to Skye," Shawn says softly.

"Skye?" Helen looks confused. "Our teenage daughter, we've technically been planning our wedding since she was six but never had the time to do it so here we are."  I squeeze Shawn's hand and look up at him.

"Awe that's wonderful, if there is anything you need me to do, please don't hesitate to call." I follow her out of the cabin and toward the parking lot. "I will and thank you for working with us, I know this is an odd request," She shakes her head, "No this is great, we can go into my office and talk about the logistics of everything.  Three hours later we return back to our Air B&B. I slide my flannel off and drape it over the back of the chair and drop down on to the couch in exhaustion. "So Shawn what do you think? It's beautiful right?"  He nods. "I love it and can totally see us getting married there."

"So it's a yes?" My voice goes up in pitch. "It's a yes." "Ahh." I  squeal excitedly and give him a quick kiss. "Let me get  changed and we can go get dinner if you want." I suggest getting off the couch ."Sounds good to me."
