~Lola~

I ran into the house and put on my blue dress. "I hope this isn't too flashy." I said to myself. It was a chiffon dress that stopped at my knees. I let pinned my hair up in a cute style and put on my cute flats.

"Mom Im gone!" I called from the foyer. "Ok sweetheart have a good time!" she called from the kitchen. I left and walked to Chris's house. I made sure not to eat a lot so I could eat his family's meal with them. I walked up to the door and checked myself one last time.

I rang the doorbell and Chris answered it. "You look beautiful. Well.... as always." he said taking my coat. "Thank you bay, and you look handsome yourself." I said. He smiled and kissed me. Just then an old woman walked into the living room.

"This must be the wonderful girl my grandson was raving about! Finalmente ci siamo incontrati!" the woman said grabbing my cheeks and kissing them both.

"Per favore nonna non mi imbarazzo." he said blushing

"Io non sono cari."

She walked back into the kitchen to annouce that I was here. I smiled and came to him. "What did you say?" I asked.

"I asked her not to embarrass me." he said shyly. I smiled and kissed him. "She's sweet." I said. We walked into the dining room and Chris introduced me.

"Everyone, this is my girlfriend, Alcyone." he said smiling. Everyone greeted me with open arms. "Please call me Aly." I said. Chris helped me into my seat and he finally sat.

"So how did you two meet?" his grandmother asked.

I looked at him and he blushed again. "Well, we met in the 5th grade. We became close friends and I guess Chris took interest in me, and I didnt know until the 7th grade." I said

Everyone smiled. "So how did my grandson ask you to be his girlfriend? I hope he was a gentalmen." she said looking at him.

"Grandma!" he said stopping her. I giggled. "He was a complete gentalmen. He asked me in front of the classroom. He told me how he felt and my heart stopped." I said honestly

"How romantic." his aunt said. The table agreed. We started eating and having a good time. Chris's grandfather got up and wanted to make a toast.

"Lets toast to all of the blessings that Jesus has given us, and to bringing a new family member here with us today." he said smiling at me.

"Salute!" they all said holding up their glasses. They all talked and Chris excused us from the table.

"The tiramisu and biscotti will be done in a few minutes dear!" his mom called.

"Alright! We'll be back down!" he called. We walked into his room and laid in the bed. "Your family is so sweet." I said.

"That side of my family. My dad's side....well they can be unaccomadating." he said. "So all the family members downstairs are from your mom's side?"

"Yea. My dad's side is more uppity and American. They're snooty and rude." he said

"And your mom's side is friendly, free, and Italian." I said back

"Exactly. My dad isnt too peachy about them being here, and not to happy about you being here." he said.

"I know your dad cant stand me, but who cares?"

"I dont. I love who I want to love. And I already knew my mom's side was gonna like you anyways. They cant stand arrogance. They like people who are laid-back and fun. Take it from my grandma." he said

I giggled. "I can tell." He smiled and kissed me. I kissed him back and his hand caressed my thigh. I let out a small moan and ra my fingers through his hair. By then his hand was exploring under my dress. "Chris.....not while your family is here." I said gently pulling away.

"Why not babe? Its not like we go the whole way." he said

I sighed. "You are too irresistable." I whispered, kissing him more. He rolled on top of me and planted kisses on my neck. "Dont stop" I moaned softly. Then there was a knock on the door. Chris quickly jumped off of me and fixed his hair and shirt.

"Who is it?" he asked

"The dessert is done nipote." his grandma called

"Dammi un minuto nonna" he said back

"Fretta fretta!" she called before going back downstairs. He helped me smooth my dress down and gave me one last kiss.

"Lets go." he said grabbing my hand. We went downstairs and took a seat at the table. The women came in and sat down two desserts. "Help yourself!" his mother said. Chris dug in like a little boy and I grabbed a little.

"How's the tiramisu dear?" his grandma asked

"Its delicious!" I said smiling

"Grazi dear." she said smiling

I knew what that meant. "Prego." I said back. "There she goes again showing off." his father whispered. Everyone gave him a evil glare. "Hush your mouth George." his mother said madly

"You all non-care folk may approve of her but I dont. I told you to date Ashleigh son, but you always go against me." his father said.

"Is that al that matters to you is status and color? What if the person you loved made you happy? Would you care about how she looked or where she came from? Im happy dad. She makes me happy. She's the only one that understands." Chris said angrily

"Its about what you need! Not what you want! And I will not allow you to date trash." he said looking at me. I got up and ran to the door. Chris jumped up. "I HATE YOU! YOU ALWAYS MAKE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL!" he yelled. I heard his family verbally jump on George.

Chris chased after me and told me to stop. I stopped and turned around, teary eyed and defeated. "How could he say such things? How could he?" I asked. He pulled me close and comforted me.

"I didnt know he was gonna do that sweetpea. Im sorry. I really am." he said wiping my bangs out of my eyes.

"I love you." he whispered. "I dont care what he says. Im gonna be with you no matter what. Stick with me Alcyone. I dont know what I would do if you left me." he said pleading

"I would never leave you because of him. I love you too much." I said back. "Oh Alcyone..." he said pulling me closer. Just then his aunt ran to us. "Im sorry he acted like that towards you honey. The man has no manners and cares for no one but himself." his aunt said.

"Its okay Sarah. Its perfectly fine. I had a nice time tonight. You guys are truly wonderful." I said smiling.

"And so are you sweetheart." she said hugging me. "Im gonna walk her home Aunt Sarah." he said grabbing my hand. I waved goodbye. "Come back to visit anytime hon!" she called. "Ok!" I said smiling.

We walked to my door and he smiled. "Besides my asshole of a dad, I had a great time." he said smiling. "I did too. A wonderful time." I said kissing him on the cheek. He blushed. "Have a good night beautiful." he said letting me go.

"You too beanie." I said smiling

Oh what a thankful night.
