Michael picked me up that weekend and we decided to go to the mall. Of course I wanted to purchase everything I saw.

"You are definately a girly girl." Michael said laughing.

"HEY! I cant help myself." I said getting embarrased. He flashed his cute smile and I couldnt help but to smile back. "So you like that dress?" he asked.

"Yesssss. Its so adorable!"

"Try it on for me." he said analyzing it a tiny bit more. I said ok and went into the dressing room. I started getting nervous. What if he didnt like it on me? What if he said I was ugly? I discarded my negative thoughts and quickly put on the dress. I fixed myself up more and opened the door.

At first he just stared, like he was unsure what to say. I panicked because I knew he didnt like it. "Im trying to think of a right word to say." he said

"What does that mean?" I asked nervously.

"I cant say beautiful and sexy because you have a boyfriend. So Im going to say you are beautiful."

I turned red and he told me he was going to buy the dress. When we walked out the store I felt bad because I begged him not to buy it. We stopped in the middle of the mall and he looked at me.

"Whats wrong?" he asked.

"I just dont feel comfortable with you buying me things Michael."

"Look...when I like a girl and they want something...I get it."

"But I...."

Before I could finish, he bent down and kissed me. A wave went over me and my immediate reaction was the word "mmmm". He smiled and carressed my cheek.

"I know you arent happy with him my love. I can see it in your eyes." he said quietly. The truth is....I wasnt happy. Chris was acting like an asshole lately and he hasnt even been around. I just didnt want to tell Michael because I didnt want him to feel sorry for me.

"I...I dont know Michael. Its complicated."

His expression grew somber and he looked away. "Where do you want to go now?" he asked.

"Michael..." I said putting my hand on his. His hand moved away.

"Lets go to Hot Topic. I hear they have a nice sale." he said beginning to walk away.

I grew sad and followed him.

I just cant dump Chris....
