Bdecca had a childhood best friend who was there for her. Becca friend name was Lexi. She was the one who taught Becca how to control her visions and not to be afraid of using her powers for something good.
Lexi was killed when a two boys from their neighborhood found out about mutants. They killed Lexi when Lexi and Becca were training to control their abilities. The boys shot at Lexi in the heart.
Lexi ordered Becca to run before they would kill her to as Lexi took her last breath.
