Hating Undeniable Feelings

Music Club

Mera POV
I slowly walked down the second floor hallways where the door of the music room stood on the right waiting for me to enter. I looked at Aaron with sad eyes giving him a sign that I don't want go in there.
"C'mon Mera how bad can it be"
"It can be a stereotype of high school musical"I said being sarcastically serious

Aaron then let out a sigh and held my hand and walked me into the music room.

The room was filled with all kinds of instruments and walls painted with musical notes and a studio at the corner of the room it wasn't filled with a lot of people but it was about 6 or 7 persons they all look chilled and casual I eventually became comfortable.

"Uh is this the music club"Aaron asked
"What's it to you"said a girl with piercing all over her face and short pixie cut hairstyle in an all black outfit
"Excuse me"I said ready to lash out

Aaron immediately put his hand over my mouth and held me down it's like he knew whats gonna happen.

A wavy hair, light skinned guy then came up to us and answered our question
"Sorry about my friend she's just going through some stuff now"
"Oh its cool"Aaron said
"I'm guessing you guys are here to join our club"
"Yeah"he replied
"Cool I'm Danny"
"Aaron and this is my girlfriend Mera"
"So you guys have any musical talent"Danny asked
"I can sing a little bit but I'm actually in this for her"
"K what about you Mera"Danny asked
"Uhh he says I have a voice of an angel, so I'm taking his word for it"I said
"Really well can we hear this angelic voice"
"Oh no no I'm still having problems"I said lying
"Or your just a chicken"said that same girl

Cold blood immediately rush though my body and my facial expressions eventually change towards the person who responded

"What did you just call me"I asked
"Cluck cluck Chuck chuck"she said imitating a chicken

I closed my eyes and try to calm myself down and then the perfect song popped up on my head and since they think I'm a chicken let's give them it with some attitude

"I'm sorry if I seem uninterested or I'm not listening or I'm indifferent. Truly  I ain't got no business here but since my friends are here I just came to kick it but really I would rather be at home all by myself not in this room with people who don't even care about my well being I don't dance, don't ask,I don't need a boyfriend so you can can back please enjoy your party I'll be here"

As I ended the song I could felt eyes glued on to me then suddenly someone spontaneously clapped slowly as if the person was being sarcastic.

"Wow"
"Yeah dude you don't just have a voice of a angel but you can definitely harmonize"said Danny

I smiled as he compliments my voice.

"Yeah I hope she can hit the high notes and not croak"she said

I swear I'm this close to slicing that girl's throat with my pen.

"Chill out Roxy she already in, if you got something against her, work that shit out and stop being a brat about it"Danny said sternly

"Wait so she's in?"Aaron asked
"Of course she in her voice and my voice is definitely a match"said a perky girl with blond hair and glossy pink lips

After my heart beaming with Glee I heard a fake ass clear throat from Roxy.

"I thought whenever a person wants to join us we should vote"
"Ok all hands up if you want Mera in"Danny said
I got 6 pair of hands raised for me to be in, the only person who already doesn't wants me in was obviously Roxy I don't even know this girl and she already hates me.

"Ok guys she in"said Danny

They all smiled and came up to me with probably an introduction.

"Damn girl you've got the voice we should totally collaborate and I'm Jazmine but everyone calls me Jaz"
