"Can you really blame me, love? I might be a patient man, but this is something I have no control over."

"We were just kissing, there was no reason for you to get all worked up." Caroline said.

"Why are you so upset over this?" Klaus asked, getting up from the bed and taking a few steps towards Caroline. "It might be because you are also unable to control your desires."

"Me? Unable to control something? Pff! That's crazy talk. You are crazy." Caroline lied and laughed nervously.

"You're an awful liar, love."

"Fine. I admit it. My idea of the no sex rule it kinda sucks but I still want to go through with it." Caroline said. "If we don't do this, then before we know it, our relationship will be just about sex and I don't want that."

"Our relationship will always be more than just the physical stuff, love." Klaus whispered and gave a peck on Caroline's lips.

Caroline felt overwhelmed with the way he kissed her, because, unlike the other guys she had been with, he enjoyed kissing her without doing more than that, his kisses were tender and sometimes possessive, but in every single kiss they shared, it would always be filled with feeling.

"Klaus... I think we should stop..." Caroline whispered, feeling almost unable to stop kissing him.

"Alright... what do you suggest us to do now?" Klaus whispered, trying to not rip her clothes off and please her like he has been wishing to do for such a long time.

"I think we should talk a bit about our past." Caroline said. "Like how many relationships did we have and with how many people did we had sex with and their names."

"Nice trick! I'm not gonna tell you about all the girls I slept with."

"All the girls? How many girls were there, Fabio?"

"Love, I've been alive for a thousand years..."

"Fine then a list of exclusive relationships we had. And we can order from the least serious to the most serious."

"Okay. If that's what you want..."

"Okay. You start." Caroline said.

"There was only two. Aurora, a woman I was with not long after I turned and then the most serious, which is you."

"Are you really gonna tell me that you've been in exclusive relationships just with me and that Aurora girl?" Caroline said in disbelief.

"It's the truth."

"What about Tatia?"

"I had feelings for her at the time but she accepted to have Elijah courting her and not me."

"What?! That's crazy!" Caroline said and Klaus simply looked at her. "Who chooses Elijah over you? I mean, Elijah is so serious and formal and has no idea how to party. I'm sorry, but that Tatia girl was not very bright. I mean... Elijah? Ugh!"

Klaus couldn't help but have a big smile while listening to Caroline, enjoying the fact that Caroline couldn't understand why someone would pick Elijah over him.

"It's your turn, love."

"Well, I was exclusive with Damon, but I don't consider what we had a serious relationship, then I was with Matt for almost a year and then I dated Tyler and now I'm with you."

"And if you rank us...?"

"You're on top. You're the most important." Caroline said, making Klaus smirk and kiss her.

AN: Hey guys! I hope you're liking the story so far. I know this chapter wasn't a big advance in the story but I thought it would be nice to see Elijah reading Harry Potter just bc Elena asked him to, to see Klaroline talking about their previous relationships and seeing April not letting the fact Kol is a vampire to push her away from him. But what do you think?
PS: in case you were wondering, that comment Kol made about Harry Potter it was inspired by Pete Davidson in Weekend Update from SNL. And Caroline calling Klaus Fabio  while asking about he many girls he's been with was inspired by OTH
