Fake relationship

It was a brand new day, Caroline was in the living room of the Mikaelsons, writing in the notes of her iPhone a list to why and why not date Klaus, a list to the possible scenarios in case she confessed her feelings and how their relationship would end up.

"Love, What are you doing?" Klaus asked, seating next to her, making her quickly block her phone.

"Nothing." She quickly lied and he gave her a look. "Okay. Can we talk in private? Without anybody being able to listen?"

"Sure." He said and took her to the office. "What is it, love?"

"I'm not sure what to do... When our fake relationship started, I had plans and I had things written down about what to do and why but then things changed and... I send you that photo of me at the beach and... last night we were acting like we were really dating and... I am starting to feel that what I feared is actually happening." Caroline said. "We no longer know when it's an act or reality."

"Caroline..."

"I know I never gave you a chance but how can I give you a chance now, when I'm so confused?"

"Love, I won't force you to do something you don't want to do." Klaus whispered.

"You are always trying to see what's best for me but what about you? Isn't this a torture to you? Never knowing when it's a real moment or when it's fake?"

"It is. But these months were the ones I got to spend more time with you. I got to know more about you, I got to be there for you, to listen to you... I spend a year, having you around me just for a few moments and seeing you and Tyler together all the time, that was torture but this is a little less hurtful..."

"I don't want to hurt you." Caroline whispered and Klaus kissed her softly.

"I knew very well the risks when I accepted helping you." Klaus whispered.

"I care about you, Klaus. A lot..." Caroline whispered and gave him a peck on the lips. "But I think this lie is making us not realize what's real and what's not. Just these kisses shouldn't happen..."

"They should."

"I am not ready for a relationship and friends with benefits never works."

"Maybe one day you'll be, and maybe one day you'll let me take you to one of my private islands." Klaus whispered and she kissed him passionately.

"Once I leave this office, we will have to try to control ourselves." Caroline whispered and kissed him again.

Kol took April to the woods after convincing her to let him teach her how to use a gun.

"Put each leg like this..." Kol demonstrated her, then he walked over to her, he rest his hands on her hips, to make sure they were in a proper position and then he wrapped his arms around hers to make her arms be in 90 degrees from the ground and all she could do was blush and try her best to keep it cool.

"What now?"

"Now it's time for shooting and remember, take a step back once you shoot." Kol whispered. "Look at the bottles, they are your target, now shoot."

April tries a few times but always missed the bottles.

"This is stupid." April said, making Kol smirk.

"Just relax, darling." Kol whispered, wrapping his arms around her and starting to caress her waist.

He gave her a few tips and after a few tries she finally shot a bottle, making her jump of happiness and then she hugged Kol tightly. At first the hug was normal and happy but then he couldn't break the hug so soon, he was enjoying having her in his arms and she was enjoying being in his arms. Once they broke the hug, he rested his forehead in hers, enjoying the warmth of being so close to each other, then he leaned in and so did she, but they didn't kiss, they simply stayed like that, feeling their hearts beating faster as they were about to have their first kiss but the kiss never come to happen.
