The next morning after breakfast I was upstairs in mine and Chris's room on my laptop when Juliet came into the room.

"Raven, are you and Chris having a bachelor or bachelorette party the night before your wedding?"

"Not that I know of I don't think Chris is into that and I'm not into having a bachelorette party." I explained.

"Speaking of my brother he's looking for you." Juliet replied.

I logged out of the website I was on and shut down my laptop I got up from the computer chair Juliet and I left the bedroom I walked downstairs.

"Babe where are you?"

"I'm in the kitchen my love."

I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the island with Chris he held my hand and kissed the back of it I felt my cheeks grow warm.

"Juliet told me that you were looking for me." I said.

"Yes, I was looking for you so we could discuss my sisters." Chris stated casually.

"What about Juliet and Lucy?"

"My parents let me rephrase that my father called and asked me to bring my sisters back home."

"Shouldn't it be up to your sisters if they live with us or not!?" I asked annoyed.

"Yeah, but my father misses them he may not show it or say it to us, but my father loves his kids and I have to tell Juliet and Lucy that our mother wants a divorce." He explained.

Chris and I left the kitchen we walked upstairs to Juliet and Lucy's room I knocked on the door before we walked into the room the girls were sitting on the carpet drawing Chris and I sat down on the bed.

"Juliet, Lucy can Chris and I talk to you for a minute?"

"Yeah,"

I held Chris's hand I interlaced our fingers he kissed the back of my hand he took a deep calming breath before he talked to Juliet and Lucy.

"Dad called a few minutes ago he would like you two to please come home he misses you both very much." Chris said softly.

"We'll go home there's something else you want to tell us but are worried about how we'll take the news." Juliet pointed out.

"Mom told dad that she wants a divorce,"

"Are you serious!?"

Chris looked at his sisters and nodded Juliet and Lucy rose to their feet and sat beside Chris and I on the bed.

"Mom's just going to throw almost twenty some years of marriage away like that!?" Lucy asked ferociously.

"Mom and dad are married almost twenty-six years because mom was pregnant with me when her and dad got married, they got married in June I was born in November." Chris said comforting his sisters.

"Chris what made mom change she used to enjoy being a mom now it seems like mom doesn't like or love us?"

"I think the three of us should sit down and have a long talk with mom."

Chris and I helped Juliet and Lucy pack their belongings after the girls were finished packing Juliet, Lucy, Chris, and I walked downstairs and walked outside we loaded up Chris's car I walked back inside the house I grabbed Juliet, Lucy, and Chris's jackets I walked back outside and handed them their jackets. The girls hugged me I hugged them back Lucy and Juliet climbed into the car Chris gave me a passion filled kiss I playfully nipped his bottom lip.

"I'll see you when I come home." Chris said tucking a stray hair behind my ear.

"Be safe driving Juliet and Lucy home my love," I said blushing.

"I'll be safe I promise my dear."

Chris kissed my forehead I waved good-bye to Juliet and Lucy they waved back I walked back inside the house I closed the storm door I closed the inside door and locked it I sat down on the couch I grabbed my twilight book off the coffee table. I kicked off my Converse and stretched out on the couch and read my book I was in the kitchen cooking dinner when I heard the front door open, I set the table for dinner I fixed up the coffee pot I looked up and saw Chris entering the kitchen he sat down at the table I turned on the coffee pot.

"Babe, are you okay?" I asked worried.

"I'm fine," Chris said

I grabbed a sack of blood out of the mini fridge I grabbed an old coffee mug I poured the blood into the coffee mug and heated it up for a minute I felt bad for him when the microwave beeped, I took the mug out of the microwave I closed the door I carried the mug over to Chris. I sat the mug in front of him I kissed his cheek Chris wrapped his arm around my waist he gently sat me on his lap he kissed my cheek.

"I love you baby,"

"I love you too, babe."

I kissed Chris I climbed off his lap and checked on dinner I saw strong tattooed arms snake themselves around my waist I felt Chris nuzzling I leaned back against his chest I felt my cheeks get heated Chris kissed the sweet spot on my neck and playfully nibbled my neck.

"Babe not now later." I giggled.

I turned around in Chris's arms facing him I gazed up at him and saw tears swimming in his eyes I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with his long inky black locks.

"Are you sure you're okay because you look like you want to cry?"

"Juliet, Lucy, and I sat down with our mother and put everything out there in the open for her there was anger and hurt our mother regrets being hard on us about our grades and never being there to support us at talent shows and school plays. Our mother promises to be there for us more because she doesn't want us to hate her or resent her."

"Are your parents still getting a divorce?" I asked concerned.

"No, my mother changed her mind because she saw how Juliet, Lucy, and I were upset by the news." Chris explained.

"I'm glad your mother changed her mind,"

When dinner was ready Chris and I dished up dinner we grabbed our plates and coffee mugs and sat down at the table.

"I hope you like fish sticks and french fries." I said.

"I love them they were my favorite when I was a kid my mother would make them for me for lunch sometimes when I was a kid." He replied.

Later on, that night I was lying in bed waiting for Chris to finish up in the bathroom when he came out of the bathroom, he climbed into bed I reached over and turned off the lamp I rolled over and snuggled up beside Chris he wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest.

"Babe."

"Hmm,"

"Juliet asked me if we were having a bachelor and bachelorette party." I said.

"What did you tell her?" Chris asked curiously.

"I told Juliet that I'm not into having a bachelorette party."

"I'm not having a bachelor party either,"

I lightly kissed his chest Chris kissed my forehead he lightly stroked my arm I kissed Chris's cheek we fell asleep.
