Jimin was in a rush at the moment.


He always gets up early, but it appears that luck was not on his side today, as he is already 2 minutes late for his appointment with a CEO for whom he inquired for a job.


It was 8:00 a.m. already. He knew there would be traffic on the way to his destination by now, so he decided to run instead.


Forget about being formal and appearing nice; getting into the firm is his #1 concern right now.


He appears to be in a state of disarray, racing around in his formal attire, hands thrashing back and forth.


When he arrived, he wasted no time in asking one of the staff members where the meeting would take place.


"Why is the elevator moving so slowly?!" he said, possibly loudly than he intended, causing the few staff members to stare at him, puzzled. He could hear muted muttering such as,

'How come you're blaming the elevator?'

'Poor creature being blamed,' says one.


And he lowered his head low, embarrassed enough not to glance back at the people who were staring at him.


Why should luck defy him today? Why hadn't luck done it earlier? Or wait till tomorrow? WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE NOW?


When the stupid elevator eventually opened, a man in his early twenties was already inside. The man smiled at him and he responded with a short bow.


"What floor?" the guy said of Jimin, who was preoccupied with making himself more appealing and thus merely lifted his hands, displaying his 10 plump—and—tiny fingers to indicate that he will be going to the 10th floor.

I fixed my gaze on the attractive young man in front of me.


He was preoccupied with repairing himself since he appeared...messy? He also appears to be worried and agitated.


I'm curious, what's the issue with him?


When the door finally opened, the small man dashed outside.


But hold on...


Why does he appear to be racing towards the CEO's office?
