That Butt Naked Godly Being Has a Brother!

Previously in Chapter Four

"Alright, I'll be here," I told him, forcing myself to smile in his direction as he stood from where he was sitting and began making his way to the door. Watching him, I sent him a small wave and let out a deep breath as the door shut behind him. 

In all honestly, I wasn't a hundred percent why I agreed to to see Jeremy tonight with Brett. I haven't seen Brett since the night of the party, I barely knew anything about him, and now I was accepting an offer to go hang out with his friends, let alone Jeremy...Seth's brother.

I could lie to myself and say that I felt as if I needed to know what Jeremy meant to piece everything together, but honestly, deep down, I knew I only accepted because I was curious, I wanted to know and Seth telling me to let it go bothered me.

Staring at the door for a few moments longer, I finally dragged my gaze away from it and encouraged myself to walk upstairs to my bedroom to try to distract myself from the obviously stupid decision I've made as plans tonight. I can only imagine what crazy things might happen...

Chapter Five

After explaining to my dad who Brett was, making sure I clarified that he was just a friends, I told him my plans for the night, and quickly got ready, not bothering to spend much time, and  finishing with ready in enough time to sit around and stare at my ceiling as I waited. 

When the doorbell rang five minutes before seven , I quickly grabbed my things, and practically ran down the steps, pulling the front door open before my dad could even move from his spot on the living room sofa. Greeting Brett with a forced smile, I called bye to my dad and shut the front door behind myself, "So where are we headed?" I asked, following Brett out to his camaro.

Brett opened the passenger door for me, and sent me a smile before answering my question, "Over to a friends house not too far from here actually," He informed me. 

Nodding, I climbed into the passenger seat and watched Brett as he walked around to the driver seat, "So how do you know Jeremy anyways?" I asked, trying to keep the conversation casual, although I felt as if my heart was going to beat out of my chest, knowing that not only was I hanging out with a guy Seth most likely didn't like, I was going to see his brother who he'd made me promise not to see...In all honest I was freaking out.

Brett glanced at me as he began driving, "We have a few mutual friends actually," He told me, and for some reason I couldn't help but find it odd that he showed up again after I don't know how long, and he some how knows Jeremy, the coincidence is by far too ridiculous.

I nodded anyways, not bothering questioning him, "That's cool..." I mumbled staring at my hands in my lap as Brett continued driving.
