I woke to the next morning with a headache.Shit why did I have to drink during working hours.I took my time to look at where I am at and recognise I was at back at my apartment.Wait I thought I was at the office,how the hell did I get here?I turned over and saw a bottled of water with some pills as I took it and a note

I was confused on what had happened.How the hell was I back at my apartment?I remember taking few shots but I never knew I would be ending up in my own apartment.
I slowly stood up and made my way into the living room where it was all clean,wow who cleaned the whole apartment.All I remember is me kissing Kara which is impossible cause she is dead.No it can't be her,she's dead that whole make out thing was only a dream.I walked towards the bathroom and stood infront of the mirror when I screamed at the scene I saw.

"What the hell,"I exclaimed and saw traces of hickeys from my neck down to my cleavage area.No it can't be,this can't be real,how the hell did I get all these hickeys and they are all still fresh red marks.No I'm only dreaming.Kara is dead she can't be alive or can she.

Kara's POV
"Mom,"Nia's voice called out as I looked from the pile of paper at my desk and looked at my 19 year old daughter staring at me with a tired smile(A:N,I know I keep on confusing you all with the age difference of the Kids,well Nia is 19 years old,Ivy is 6 years old and Ian is 4 years old...Well sorry about interrupting your reading...You may continue🙃)

"Hey sweetie,"I said standing up and walking towards her engulfing her with a hug.

"How was work,?"I asked as she sighed and I knew something was wrong as we pulled away from the hug and sat on the bed which was in my office

"Work was ok I guess,"she said

"Sweetie everything alright,?"I asked as she gave me a tired smile with a weak nod

"Mom when you were a reporter,how did you manage to keep your dream alive,?"She asked out of no where as I slowly sat up adjusting my skirt and looked at her

"I always tend to look at the bright side even though a lot of my articles gets rejected by the admins,I always tend to keep saying to myself that there is always a light to every tunnel and that's what keeps me going,It only depends on who or what you believe in and how determined you are,"i said as she nodded her head with a smile plastered on her face.After a little while she let out a tired yawn

"Now why don't you get some sleep cause honey you look sleepy,"I said as I led her to the bed as she laid herself down cuddling with the pillow

"Mom where's Ian,?"she asked with a yawn

"Maggie came around the office couple of hours ago as she wanted to take Ian out of a while,"I replied as she let out a sarcastic chuckle

"That guy really loves to roam the city doesn't he,"she mumbled as it made me laugh at the thought.She was right ever since we arrived here Ian has been getting all the attention of others taking him around.One thing i have noticed about Ian is that he loves adventure and loves to explore  things just like Jade.Where ever you are Jade and you are listening to me,both of our kids are growing so fast and never once they have forgotten about you.

"I guess he does but for now take some rest,I'll wake you up,"I said as she slowly closed her eyes and drifted off to work.
