H/N turns off the heated burner on the stovetop and places the pot of ramen he was making on the cooled burner beside it. "Coming!"
H/N enters the room as you stood beside the crib, cradling the small child who was giggling and blabbering. H/N grins and stands beside you. "How is he/she?"
"He/She said words! I heard it!" You exclaimed bouncing on your toes lightly. You bow your head down and look at your child. "C/N~ Tell daddy what you said." You anticipated and mentally cheered on your kid to say the words.
"Hala!!!" The baby yelled, putting her/his hands in the air.
"Hala?" H/N raises an eyebrow with an amused smile on his face.
"Hala! Hala!" The baby shouted.
H/N caressed the infant's face gently, showing his great praise for his baby. "My little gem's first words were 'Hala Hala'. Who knew~?" He kisses the baby's forehead.
H/N turns to kiss your cheek and rubs your back. "Let's have some ramen to celebrate. It will be done in a couple minutes." He leaves, more than content with his seven-month-old's first words.
