We had speakers, microphones, and everything prepared to march on the capital. Before we left for the capital, Mr. Wallace gave us a pep talk about hope and the future being in their hands as well as our hands. With all of our hopes up, we set everything up before the teachers arrived on the scene. Mr. Wallace had gained permission from the governor to set up his audio gear at the capital. Mr. Wallace told him that it would make an impactful affect on the teachers and he complied immediately. The government of California would do anything to get the teachers off of their back, even if it meant giving a high school chorus class the time and space they needed.

When the teachers arrived, it was as we all expected. We retreated inside of the capital prior to when they showed up to prepare ourselves. "That's a lot of angry moms!" Clement said worried.

"No worries Clement!" Roy said confidently. "Just remember who and why we are doing this."
