Part 5, Chapter III

"Which way do we go?!" Juan asked as he looks left and right of the long hall.

"This way!" Shouted as I ran down the left side of the hallway as the younger abnormals followed me from behind.

"Can't you just teleport us outta here?!" Juan asked loudly.

"I don't know where the hell we are!" Bang shouts. "We could be underground in some different state!"

We kept running down the hall until we made it to a crossroads.

"Shit!" I exclaimed, looking at the three other directions. I looked at the signs that pointed at said directions. "Testing District" on our left, "Armory" on our right, and "District A" in front of us.

"We'll most likely make it to the exit if we keep moving forward." Everyone nodded in agreement with my idea as we kept running forward.

As we continued to run down the hall, ten men with riot gear were blocking our path. "Stop!" One of the men shouted as we immediately came at a halt. "Get back to your holding cell, or we will use force!" One of the men threatened.

I look back at the kids who stared at me. "Kick their asses," I told them. Some of them smirked as they approached the riot men as they began using their powers against them. I was impressed by the kids' abilities as they finish the men off. The kids who fought turned to me like they were awaiting orders from their captain.

"Let's keep moving!" I ordered. They all nodded and continued running. I followed them from behind until they reached an elevator. The elevator seemed to be large enough to fit all 30 of us. We all squeezed inside as Juan presses the ground floor button.

"Holy shit!" Juan shouts in excitement. "You guys were badass!"

The other kids started agreeing with each other as they talked. I chuckle to myself.

"You were awesome too, Mister Bang!" Shouted one of the kids, praising him.

I scratched my head and chuckled a bit more. "Hehe, I guess." As I chuckled in embarrassment, the elevator stopped and opened the door. We were welcomed by over 50 armed men, aiming their rifles at us.

"Hands up and exit the elevator!" The leader of the large group orders us as he slowly complied. I exited the elevator as the kids with me did as well.

"On your knees!" The leader shouts. "All of you!" They all had their guns on us still. I could teleport if I want to, but they might shoot the kids, so I instead went on my knees with my hands behind my back. I look back at the kids to get them to do the same, which they did. The large group of soldiers aimed their guns at us still while some of them approached us with handcuffs. Before they could so so, a soldier was screaming as he flew in the air, crashing into the elevator door.

I looked at the now-dead soldiers in shock as I look back at who did this. The armed men turned around to see a nine-foot-tall, blue goo-like man as it roars at them.

"Open fire!" Shouted one of the men as they all began shooting at the giant slime. The slime absorbed the bullets into its body as it swings its elastic-like arms into several men.

This is the perfect chance for us to escape. I gathered the kids and made a run for it towards the exit. Some men tried to stop us, but one of the girls with us used her telekinesis to push them away. We later finally made it to the outside and saw John waiting at a truck and trailer. The older man looks at me and smirks. "You look like shit, kid!" He shouts at me, chuckling afterward.

"Screw you, Joh—" I was interrupted after seeing Allison come out of the van and ran towards me, throwing herself in my arms. I was speechless, and Allison held me tight.

"You made me worry, asshole..." she muttered into my shirt. I couldn't help but smile. John was getting the kids in the trailer as he looks at me with a chuckle. I narrowed my eyes and looked down at Allison.

"We gotta go."

Later

It took quite a while to get all the kids back to their parents. Some didn't have parents to go back to, so we dropped them off at orphanages owned by the Leon Enterprises. The last child I brought back to his family was Juan. After I teleported Juan back to his home in Portland, he stared at his home as I heard whimpering. He turned at me with tears in his eyes and smiled. "Thank you, Bang." I couldn't help but smile too as I nodded. I teleported away before his parents came out of the house to see me.

Later in Seattle

"You're not going home, are you?" Allison asked me. We were in John's shop, sitting at the counter where the cash register is. I sighed and shook my head.

"I'm a wanted man," Bang answered. "If I go back, they'll certainly be there."

Allison sighed and scratched her head. "Well... if you need any help, just call me." She smiled at me. I smiled back at her and leaned towards her face for a kiss, until—

"Hey, be lovey-dovey somewhere else." John butted in. I pulled away from Allison's face as we were both flushed red.

"What the hell, John?!" I exclaimed, a bit irritated by John's cock-blocking. John began to laugh. I sighed and looked at Allison and quickly gave her a peck on the lips. "I'll see you later." I smiled. Allison frowned and nods, knowing she can't stop him. I immediately teleported away before I could have a second thought.

Later at the CIA

The Man in Black stared outside his office window as one of his trusted agents came in. "Sir, the children have escaped. Shall I organize a task force to contain them again?" He asked.

The Man in black clicked his tongue and shook his head. "No, no, no. The last thing we want is everyone knowing what I've done during my position as director," he continues. "I want you to find the finest bounty hunters for me and have them retrieve Bang De Leon for me."

The agent nodded. "Yes, sir. These bounty hunters will want cash in exchange."

The Man in Black chuckled. "That won't be a problem," he turned around to face the agent. "The top priority now is to capture Bang De Leon. I want you to contact the director of the FBI so we can have him on the most wanted list."

The agent nods before leaving the office. The Man in Black looked back at the window with a sinister smile as the sun shined upon him.
