"Because your mother just told me a few hours ago, up until then i had no idea"
"Why now, why wait until now to tell us?"
"I dont know, but if you actually talked to her, then you would know why now wouldnt you?"
" whatever, dad, but still, kyle and I are 18, why tell us now?"
"I dont know son, maybe you should phase and go find your mother"
" Cant she just phase human talk to us, why did she make you tell us?"
" I dont know!!! go find out if it means so much to you!!"
"FINE I WILL!!!"
