I was able to heal the wound though I couldn't stop the fact that he will turn into a werewolf, as other humans would if they are mated to a werewolf or bitten by one. It has always been like that for ages, even when the goddess had created this world.

"What were those things?" She asked, emphasizing the world 'things' in a distasteful manner.

I glanced at her, she looked pretty beat up with a bruised face and a busted lip. She looked to be around the age of my godmother, Lucy.

"Those things you were referring to are werewolves, rogues to be exact. They are werewolves though, they are referred to rogues due to the fact that they have a blood color eyes, dirty fur, and a stench. They become rogues if they choose to and if they were born and raised as a rouge or from the death of their mates. This is their territory, meaning that you guys would have been dead meat if it weren't for me." I explained in annoyance.

"Are you one of them? Is that why you are here?" The jerk narrowed his eyes at me.

"Jaxon-" Probably his mom warned.

"No. I was just passing through minding my own damn business while you and your family had to head into the territory, ruining my plans!" I gritted my teeth in anger, roughly grabbing my bag, bow and arrow along with my laptop that I hid.

I threw a glare over my shoulder to where jerkface was standing and I sighed, walking away not even caring they were gonna follow or not.

"Hey, hey! Wait up!" I bit my tongue from saying anything stupid.

"Where are we going?" Jerkface asked.

I ignored him, following my instincts of where to go. The Moon Goddess had a strange way to get me to do what she wanted. Sometimes, she would use dreams or visions; other times, it would be guiding me whenever I am in the forest; and when I meditate.

"Hey, I was asking you a question," He ordered, while grabbing me by the shoulder which made pull his hand to me and flipped him so he could lay on his back on the floor.

He groaned, "And I ignored you which means two things: 1. Shut the hell up and 2. I'm not answering your question."

I side stepped him, leaving him on the floor as his mom helped him up, whereas his brother just covered up his laugh with a cough.

We traveled for about six hours and have made it out of the territory safely. Luckily, I had stuffed the food and the water I had collected so that when we take a break we could start a fire. As the day was getting darker, we had rested under the trees, and I had gone to gather dry sticks to make out a fire to keep us warm and to roast our meat.To be able to have an equal amount of meat, I used my dagger that I had washed with disinfectant wipes from all the blood that was on it. I ate a little amount of food, only caring that they had enough to eat. Because judging by how they were eating, it was like they haven't eaten for...give or take a week.

"Think fast!" I said to the jerkface that had me pinned against a tree, throwing a deer's leg his way while he was eating a rabbit's leg and was shocked when it hit his face.He was glaring at me with a mouthful of his food, to which made the kid almost spit out his food due to laughing.

"You need to work on that," I muttered, not even phased by his glare.

I looked over to where their mother was, "So what brought you here to the woods?"

I took a small bite of the meat I had and replied nonchantly, "It's nothing for any of you to worry about. No offense, but my business is my business and I suggest to keep it that way."

"Well whatever your business was, it must have been shitty," I heard 'Jaxon' mumble.

"Yeah? Well what brought you guys here must have been a shitty reason," I stated a little too aggressive.

"What the fuck is your problem?!" The jerkface abruptly stood directly in front of me.

"Jaxon, don't!" His mom tried to stop him, pulling his arm while his brother was already fast asleep.

"Pfft, you think I'm scared of you?" I chuckled darkly, as I stood up slowly. Although the height difference, I didn't care how tall or who the hell he was, he was gonna get an ass beating if that was what he was asking for.

"I've met people like you and I knew who you were the moment you pinned me against the tree with my knife. I saw it through your eyes, the fear, the guilt and regrets. Your mother," I began circling around him slowly, "is a victim of abuse isn't she? Judging by the looks of it, seems quite about right... Must have been a tough day for you, when you couldn't even save your brother from him as well."

I heard his mother gasp and in that moment I knew, I had already flipped a switch in him.

"You don't know shit!" Jaxon said lowly and charged at me and I was ready on how he would react, especially him. I spun away from him, facing his back and then pulled the collar of his shirt roughly, making him stumble backwards and falling to the ground.

"You'd be an idiot to get off the ground," I calmly stated, as I turned my back to them to start walking but then I heard the crunching of leaves, knowing that he was back on his feet. His feet hit the ground, running so that he could try and tackle me, but I was quick dodge the threat. I then jabbed him in the back of his neck to make him fall asleep.

"Did you really have to do that?" His mom asked sternly.

I shrugged carelessly, "He started what he couldn't even finish."

I left them, not even daring to look back.
