Backstory:
Lucas grew up as an Exo in a village a few miles away from the Last City. But unlike other Exos, he was capable of growing older. As an Exo, he had little to no memory of his past and no one wanted him around, forcing him to wander the streets as an orphan. His only friend was Karly Green, a sweet young girl with a mind full of knowledge. Lucas was, though he'd never admit it, quickly infatuated with her. He loved how she constantly scolded him when he screwed up and how she always had his back when the other kids in the village bullied him. One day, his village was attacked by the Hive. Along with Karly, he attempted to fight off the Hive long enough to allow the villagers to get to safety. This act of bravery was short-lived as the Hive quickly overwhelmed them and slaughtered everyone. He was revived shortly after Karly and the two made their way to the Last City.
