Backstory:
Jett Xiao-Long is the oldest son of Taiyang Xiao-Long and Raven Branwen. Jett was abused since he was two years old up until a week before his thirteenth birthday. The only people he considered to be his family were Summer Rose and the family's black and white corgi, Zwei.  On the final day of his torment, Jett was taken in by the Hunter Vanguard, Cayde-6. From that day forward, he was trained to be a Guardian of the Light and the leader of Fireteam Jackal.  As the years progressed, he got involved in a romantic relationship with Mara Sov until she perished at the hands of Oryx.  When he was seventeen, Jett left the Tower and returned to Remnant and enrolled in Beacon academy. In the first few days, Jett rebuilt his relationship with his younger half-sister Ruby Rose and fell in love with Velvet Scarlatina.  That was until a few months later when he and Cayde went to the Prison of Elders and Cayde lost his life at the hands of the Scorn.  Jett rebuilt his relationship with his sister Yang Xiao-Long shortly before he left to find the Scorn and their leader. After the death of Uldren, the traitorous prince of the Reef, Jett reconnected with his siblings in Mistral. He promised to travel with them until Salem was destroyed.  Afterward, he planned to hunt down the Witch Queen of the Hive, Savathûn.
