Unexpected

Chapter 26

Justin's POV:

Even though I was in pain I couldn't help but smile at the sight of my little nephew crawling for the first time

Caitlin picked him up again after he crawled once more to her and began kissing all over his face again

I chuckled slightly and held my arms out for her to hand him to me

"Are you sure?" She asked nervously "I don't want him to hurt you"

"He won't" I replied, my voice hoarse and croaky from being punched in the stomach so many times

She handed Drew to me and I sat him on my lap

"Hey little buddy, uncle Justin is super proud of you for crawling for the first time" I began "But I'm not gonna go all soppy and kissy like your Mommy" I joked pulling a fake disgusted face

"Hey!" Caitlin yelled

"I was joking" I smirked

 "Whatever" She replied playfully, pretending to feel hurt

Later Drew fell asleep on me so I carried him upstairs and laid him in his crib tucking him in

Lunch time came around and me and Caitlin were still in our pyjamas

Drew woke up hungry and Caitlin went upstairs to get him

Suddenly I heard Drew crying louder but I didn't hear Caitlin say a word...

I eventually heard her voice yell "I told you to stay away from my son!"

"He's my son too" A voice yelled

Uh oh, things never go well when Caitlin is alone with Jason...

I stood up and ran upstairs as fast as I could to get to Caitlin, my Mom following behind me...

I went into Drew's room to see Jason and Caitlin arguing

Caitlin noticed me enter the room and looked to me "Get your Mom to take Drew downstairs" She said clearly scared

I looked to my Mom who was picking a still crying Drew up out of his crib

She then took him downstairs

"Why are you here?!" I yelled at Jason

"To see my son!" He yelled back

"I told you earlier I don't want you to see him after what you did to Justin!" Caitlin replied before I could answer

That's when Jason snapped and pushed her against the wall, slapping her

"Don't you put your hands on her!" I yelled

"I'll do whatever I want to my girl" He smirked, testing my patience

And that's when I ran at him, pulling him off of Caitlin and tackling him to the floor and beginning to hit him

"Stop!" Caitlin yelled but I kept hitting him

Caitlin then broke down in tears next to us, sliding down the wall "Justin please stop" She begged sobbing into her hands

I stopped hitting him and got up, going over to a sobbing Caitlin and sitting next to her pulling her close "I'm sorry baby" I whispered softly as she snuggled into my embrace

An angry Jason then stormed out of the house slamming the door behind him causing Drew to start crying again

Caitlin stood up "I'm gonna go check on Drew and your Mom" She spoke quietly

I gently pulled her to face me "I'm sorry" I said looking down

"Its fine" She said simply "I'm just shaken up... I-I've never seen you like that"

She's right I've never got that mad, I gulped, I don't wanna end up like Jason...

"L-lets go check on Drew" I stuttered and we headed downstairs....
