Unexpected

Chapter 19

*3 Months Later* (Picture of Drew at the side)

Caitlin's POV:
Drew is now 3 months old and Jason has only visited twice these last 3 months, I guess its better than not visiting at all...

I was currently sat in the kitchen at the table eating my breakfast whilst Justin sat giving Drew his bottle.
Pattie had gone to work so it was just me, Justin and Drew...

After breakfast me and Justin sat on the couch in the living room watching TV whilst Drew laid on his play mat kicking the toys that hung above him
I watched as he kicked his legs and made little baby noises as he kicked a toy
I smiled as I admired him, Drew was probably the best thing that ever happened to me...
I noticed Justin now watching Drew, Justin was so amazing with Drew, he'd get up with him some nights to let me sleep, he'd cuddle Drew and sooth him when Drew got upset over things such as storms, he was a truly great uncle...

"You ok?" Justin asked, snapping me out of my thoughts
"Yeah, I was just thinking" I smiled
"About Drew?" He smiled
I nodded

Later Pattie got home, around lunch time, to see Drew asleep on his play mat
She smiled before sitting with me and Justin

Once Drew woke up I gave him his bottle whilst Pattie made lunch
Once he finished his bottle I laid him on his play mat whilst I ate lunch with Pattie and Justin

After lunch me and Justin took Drew to the park

Justin sat in the sand box with Drew in between his legs as Drew can't sit up by himself yet
I sat with them and watched as Drew looked curiously at the sand before picking some up and letting it fall through his tiny fingers

We got home from the park and I had just put him down for a nap as soon as we got home because he'd fallen asleep, he then started crying
I groaned as I'd only just put him down
Justin chuckled and jogged upstairs...

Justin's POV:
As I jogged up the stairs Drew's cries got louder
I went into his room to see Jason holding Drew in his arms and for some reason Drew was practically screaming and crying
"Put. Him. Down" I said through my teeth
"Why should I he's my son?"
"You're clearly scaring him!" I half yelled so I didn't upset Drew any more
He sighed and handed Drew to me
Drew instantly went quiet
I looked up at Jason "Dude if you wanna see him just ask Caitlin, she wants you to be a part of Drew's life"
"She does?" He asked
"Of course she doesn't want him to not see his Dad" I explained "Come downstairs and you can stay for a little while"
He nodded following me downstairs

We got downstairs and entered the living room
Caitlin took Drew from me before noticing "What's he doing here?" She asked
"He wanted to see Drew but didn't think you'd let him, that's why Drew was crying" I explained
She nodded before looking at Jason "If you wanna see him you just have to ask, I'm not gonna stop him from seeing his Daddy" She smiled reassuringly
"Thanks" Jason smiled

Later we all had dinner and then Jason had to go home
He picked Drew up and kissed his forehead "Daddy loves you buddy" I heard him whisper quietly to Drew
Drew started making baby noises and Jason handed him to me
"See you tomorrow?" Caitlin questioned
"Yeah" Jason smiled before leaving

About an hour after Jason left Caitlin was tired so decided to head up to bed early so I told her I'd bath Drew
I got Drew bathed and dressed in his pyjamas  (white and grey stripy footie pyjamas with a navy blue pocket on the right and dark blue on the bottom of the sleeves and feet (http://www.polyvore.com/stripe_footie_hat_set_infant/thing?id=109601360)
I then gave him his final bottle before bed and then got him to sleep

Once he was asleep I took him upstairs to his room and laid him in his crib tucking him in
I then got a shower and headed to bed myself...
