My eyes

Oculus's POV

My beautiful Scarlett's face dropped as I told her we would be going to hell her round blue dove like eyes widened as she whispered a curse under her breath

"Scarlett I know this must be a lot but we have to leave right away they WILL find us love" I emphasized the 'will' because those fuckers were good at tracking and I couldn't keep the cloaking spell up for long I'd been up all night and my powers were slowly depleting I needed sleep

In due time I will be all powerful though

"Let's go" Scarlett all but whispered

I was surprised by her willingness but didn't question it

I reached out my hand for her and she was about to take it before she quickly retracted making me lift an eyebrow at her sudden action

"I forgot about Constallent I don't want to leave him and he worry" Scarlett pouted a little

Her emotions were all over the place
Guilt

Uneasiness

Sadness

I smirked down at her and took a deep breath "Constallent come forth" my voice boomed bouncing off the thin walls of the hotel I saw Scarlett shiver involuntarily as my voice resonated throughout the room and I felt my lips twitch upward

"What is it Lucifer I was about to get my freak on with sexy baby zaddy Kyle" Constallent ever so boldly exclaimed making my face scrunch in disgust

"TMI, what the hell ewww my ears" Scarlett's voice rang out making constallent turn around

"Oh hi Scarlett" he turned back to me then paused and slowly turned back towards Scarlett "SCARLETT!?!" He yelled

"Hey C" she waved

"Why In the hell are you in this room alone with him" he pointed towards me "ohhhh I get it y'all did the nasty huh and now you want me to buy plan B"

"No no no we did nothing of the sort you horndog" Scarlett's face began to turn a deep red she actually looked like a tomato "the question here is how the hell did you just appear out of thin air mister"

I stiffened as I felt the cloak wearing down that I had put up

my powers were slowly depleting and soon I'd collapse

"We don't have time to give answers we must go"Constallent sensed the urgency and the seriousness of the matter and his face turned serious

He might be a cool guy and he was all about fun and games but when the time came for work he knew when to jump into action and that's why he's been my right hand man because of that and his strength his powers were too insane to leave him as just a war demon so I moved him to my personal assistant he also trained the warriors

I grabbed scarlett as she glared at constallent "this ain't over mister I want answers" she pointed at constallent who'd now successfully opened the portal " I'm watching you C" she pointed two hands at her eyes then to constallent who raised an eyebrow at her before laughing

I stepped into the portal and was hit with the now all too familiar feeling of my soul being lifted from my body I let Scarlett go and began to walk

"I see stars"I heard Scarlett's melodic voice I turned around and found her walking in circles in a daze

"Fuck" I almost forgot the portal affected her differently

I quickly picked her up bridal style and made my way to my castle her head started to slump back because of the dizziness and I had to hold it

She'll get used to it

As I arrived in the castle I walked up to my chambers I would've teleported but because of certain circumstances I couldn't

I was physically drained

All because I needed to protect this little one

I smiled down at her dazed form

I lay her on my bed and got in beside her

"Ruby what's wrong with my brain I'm seeing a blur" Scarlett's face was contorted into one of confusion she looked so fucking cute I just wanted to kiss her but instead i refrained and scrunched my face into one of disgust at the nickname

"It's your first time traveling through a portal into another realm and the transition detached your soul from your body for a few seconds leading you to feeling a bit dazed" I explained to her smiling

"I can't get my eyes to focus ughhh this is frustrating" she began wiping her eyes furiously

I grabbed her hands and put them at her sides

"It'll pass Scar" I soothed she groaned and began to try and get her hands free

"Let me before I .."

"Before you what Scarlett" I ground out darkly "hmmm what are you going to do little one"I whispered in her ear making her shiver involuntarily

I let out a breath of relief when she stopped squirming

"MY SIGHT!! OCULUS MY SIGHT, MY EYES LET GO PLEASE!!"

I quickly let go of her hands instantly wanting to touch her again, I snapped my fingers and had her body frozen in place luckily it didn't take too much more of my energy up

I inspected her eyes only to see nothing wrong with them

Snapping my fingers again I unfroze her and she glared at me

"You didn't have to fucking freeze me you weirdo" I just smirked down at her

"What's wrong with your eyes little one" I asked thoroughly concerned

"Oh I was just happy they weren't blurry anymore" she smiled up at me and I groaned in annoyance

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me"

Okay I updated early because I'm about to go on spring break and so we aren't doing anything in my classes
