And when the lights shall flicker,
And when the darkness would envelop us
And when all that is good is gone and lost-

The clouds shall weep- the earth shall shake.
But without you, my life shall break.
All the promises I made and all the secrets I've held
Will only remind me more of you when you will go.
Go- and leave me alone in this dreary space of waste.
But I remember your smiles and sadness,
The dewdrops and the peaks of freedeom-
So I know, even if you go- I shan't.
