I honestly felt like my heart was falling down the bottomless pit. My body was shaking rapidly, my hair sticking to my sweaty skin, my knees beginning to burn in pain. But all of these things were far, far away, literally the last things I payed attention to.

Because my eyes were frantically looking Romeo up and down, my breath stopping somewhere in the area of my lungs. All thoughts that were running in my head were about the fact that he was still alive, with no fresh bruises, not screaming in pain and not bleeding.

- Xara... - My roommate whimpered in confusion when my hands grabbed his head, turning it this way and that, trying to find a wound that could possibly be there. - Xara, wha-

I grabbed his hands instead, ripping the bandages off and desperately checking his wrists for any sign of another cut. No, there was nothi-but maybe he had cut his ankles?! Oh, nonono!

My hands pushed on his chest, trying to make him get back and give me his legs, but he wouldn't move. I shook my head, panting for oxygen and simply trying to stop myself from shaking, something wasn't right, something...
