It's the middle of the week. And though we only have a week of rest before the 2nd term begins, sinusulit na namin ni Kiefer ang bawat araw knowing that next week, the struggle begins anew.

Ngayon lang kami magkikita ulit since last Saturday's game. Kiefer asked me to be his plus one in his friend's wedding, and I am equal parts excited and nervous at the same time.

I was so excited I actually asked Ate Aby last Friday to help me choose what to wear.

I really have to stop twiddling around and start moving... Hay, but whom do I ask for help. I don't exactly know the dos and donts in a wedding. Sino kaya pwede ko pagtanungan...

I was scrolling thru my phonebook hoping that one of my contacts would jump at me.

Ayyy ewan. Makapag-twitter muna nga.

As I refreshed my twitter feed and scrollled to the very top, the first thing I saw was something Ate Aby favorited. Maybe this is a sign. Hmmm...

Hope she's not that busy...

I then proceeded in calling her. Thank God she answered immediately!

Aby: Mika? Napatawag ka?

Mika: Uhm, Achi, hingi lang sana advice...

Aby: Hey, sure. What's up?

Mika: Ok lang bang mag-black pag umattend ng wedding?

Aby: Uhmm, not really. Why? Sino ikakasal?

Mika: Ah, former therapist / friend ni Kief. Plinus one ako eh...

Aby: Wait, wala ka na bang ibang kulay ng damit other than black?

Mika: Wala eh.

Aby: You really love your LBDs huh?

Mika: Hindi naman. Flexible lang kasi, I mean I can wear it anywhere. Well, almost anywhere, since hindi pala suitable ang black sa wedding. Talaga ba? Kahit as guest lang.

Aby: Wellll. It's advisable not to... Hmmm, gusto mo samahan kita bumili?

Mika: Really?!! Grabe, nahiya ako magtanong, pero thank you ng sobra Ate Aby!!!

Aby: Hahaha, sige lang. Daan tayong MOA later?

Mika: Anong oras ba labas mo from work Achi?

Aby: Well, technically it's my day-off so I'm good to go na. Kaw ba, tapos na ba exams mo?

Mika: Yeah, sige see you Achi!

Aby: Alright!

And here I thought I was alone suffering from nerves.

"Are you sure, ok na ba yung ganito?"

"Ano ka ba, ok na yan no! If it gets any tighter, hindi ka na makakhinga! Di ba po kuya?"

The tailor responded in affirmation to what I just said.

"O, si kuya na nagsabi ha. Kalma lang!

Picturan na lang kita. Akin na phone mo.

Ready?"

He gave a thumbs up sign as I took the picture.

I gave back his phone as he created quite a novel of a caption.
