Home alone with a baby

Rachel's pov

It's been a week since Brayden has been born and he has been a good baby so far just doing all the normal newborn stuff but today is my first day alone with him without any help we'll Finns help,, Finn is going back to school today and my parents are working so it's just me and my little baby until 2:18 that's when Finn and Noah get out of school, I then hear a faint cry come from the baby monitor I start to get up to see finn come out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist "hey baby wanna join?" He says not hearing Braydens small cries "I would but our son needs me" I said kissing his lips "tell him I love him" he tells me as I walk towards brays room "I WILL" I yelled back as I entered Braydens room "hi baby boy" I said to Brayden as I rocked him "oh you are a hungry baby come on" I said as I sat him down in the electric baby swing next to his bookcase I then take off my sleeping shirt which is Finns football shirt and one side of my bra i put a burping cloth on my shoulder I then pick Brayden back up I sit on the rocking chair and hold him close to my breast to start breastfeeding he latched on nicely

I watch him closely as he eats "me and daddy love you so much, you are eating so well you are so adorable" I said as I heard Finns footsteps come in Braydens room "hi baby, hi bray" finn says coming to us he kisses me and then Braydens head "did he just start eating?" He asks "yeah he's been eating for about 30 minutes now so he is almost done" I said to a now crouching finn "want me to make you some breakfast? I have an hour to kill before I have to go to school" He said looking into my eyes "only if you make enough for me, Noah and you" I said to him smiling "puck went early to eat breakfast with Quinn since it's their anniversary so they aren't coming back till late so it's just me going all by my lonesome I wish you were coming with me" he said looking at me lovingly I suddenly feel Brayden let go "oh bray is done can you hold him while I straighten up" I ask finn as I hand him Brayden "oh how I love our baby" finn says as I put my bra and shirt back on "can I have my baby now finny" I ask my lovely boyfriend holding our son and tickling his belly "but babe I won't be able to see him for 7 hours let us have father son time" finn says with his eyes still on Brayden "then I'll go make breakfast then but you owe me Hudson" I said kissing his cheek and Braydens head while grabbing the baby monitor

I head downstairs to start making French toast I get all the ingredients for it I then start making it during the cooking I feel Finns arm wrap around my waist "it smells good whatcha making" finn says in my ear "French toast your favorite" I said finishing up the last one "finny can you take the baby monitor and set it on the table then fill two glasses up with one apple juice and one orange juice please" I said to him with my arms around his neck "anything for my love" he says rubbing my arms as I let go to plate our food, once I'm done I set our food down with our forks I sit down as Finn starts eating "this is amazing babe" he then says "thank you" I said with a smile "when are you coming back to school?" He asks me look at the clock "in 7 weeks" I said to him "just a month and a half then we walk McKinley proud as a mom and dad also when is Braydens newborn checkup?" Finn asked me "today at 4:30" I told him as he got up to put his now empty plate in the sink "well I have to head to school now give Brayden my love I'll see you two later" finn said kissing my lips "I love you baby see you in 7 hours" he then said "I love you more" I said as Finn walked out the door I sigh at the qui- and Brayden is crying I walk towards his room and I open his door to see my baby boy upset I pick him up and say to him I rock him "hi bray it's okay mommy's got you" I said with a tear down my cheek I quickly check if anything is wrong no smelly diaper he is full of my breast milk and I burped him earlier so I bring him on his changing table and put him in a bear onesie that finn bought him this while I was pregnant "aww my handsome man" I said as i put my hands under his head and my arms around his body and I kiss his head and cheeks I lay him back down so I can send a photo of him to Finn I quickly snap a photo of him and sent it to him.
