(Quartet) - Prochorus

"Hold up... don't we know you?" Tetra called out.

The boy looked about thirteen or fourteen, so he lacked the pair of headphones you get when you're sixteen - He was still technically a child. He had messy, mint-coloured hair that wreathed his dark coloured face in waves. His eyes were the darkest evergreen, and he wore a green hoodie.

'Hey it's you guys!' The boy called out, face lightening up. A starry glimmer twinkled in his eye, the look of excitement on his face was like the face of a child watching cotton candy being made. 'It's... um... Taylor, Pie, Luna and Green Guy right?'

"IT'S TETRA NOT TAYLOR"

"AND IT'S LUMINA NOT LUNA"

"GREEN GUY? MY NAME IS QUIN THANK YOU VERY MUCH"

'At least he got my name right. Who are you anyways?'

"Me? My name's Prochorus! I've seen you guys around school!" He called out in a sing-song tone. God he's too precious. "I'm a Freshman!"

'Oh.' Lumina said. If he's a Freshman that might explain why he didn't recognise Quin, who had graduated a year prior. 'He does seem familiar.'

"How did you even get there anyways?" Tetra called out.

'I was running away from the Pink Things, so I found myself in Mount Clearwater. I got my foot stuck here getting Mushrooms and water, and... I dunno why but the water's lava now?'

"Oh. Well, don't worry Prochorus, we'll get you outta there!"

Prochorus punched the air above him, smiling a big, wide smile that twinkled in the light. His eyes reflected the same enthusiasm.

Quin, not wanting to dampen the boy's mood, whispered towards Tetra "How do we get him down?"

"I dunno" He whispered back.

'Hey, there's a level over there!' Lumina pointed towards the other side of the river of lava, where a single Pentagon laid.

"And look up! It seems to be a gigantic platform lodged into a pit!" Pi added as she pointed above their heads.

They were right. Above their heads seemed to be a chasm, but lodged in the walls was a platform-like object. It was like a gigantic cube from what they could see, but on closer inspection it was two pieces of rock joined together at the sides by another piece of rock, like a double decker bus. If they dislodged part of the chasm, they could send the platform flying down, which they could use to get Prochorus out.

Sounded like a plan.

The Void's name was just simply "Clash", and it was relatively simple enough. The theme was apparent from the very beginning. Squares vs. Circles. And I'm not sure if it's fate or anything like that, but Tetra subconsciously kept to the side the Squares appeared on while Pi subconsciously kept to the side where the Circles appeared on. They didn't consciously know they were doing it, they were probably too caught up in the flying shapes to care.

As a wall of dancing particles started travelling towards them, they swished and danced and glided like dolphins in the sea. They were not gonna die now.

Tetra wasn't able to dodge a corrupted Circle in time, so they had to get through the rest of the level with only one arm. It was not the best.
