The new family member

The Beginning

Esme POV

Carlisle looks at me looking  concerned "Maybe you should have some time away from here, you could go to  your house on that island". I nod "I may just need a break from here" " Things will be fine here" I nod once more. Then I find a suitcase and just start throwing clothes in it.  Carlisle leaves for work and I slowly get ready to leave. Before I leave I go hunting for animals making sure I don't get seen in the process. I soon as I fill up on blood I go home and find that everyone is home but Carlisle. My phone rings and I look at who it is "Hello". "Esme  how are feeling ?" "A little better, I went hunting" "I'm coming home to get you so you can catch your flight. See you soon sweetie". Then he hangs up and I sigh. I hear the front door bang open and all the kids come in. Alice comes in throwing her bag across the room. Then she sees me "I have a project due tomorrow and I have to start it." I look at the rest of them and they are all headed towards their rooms. "Were are you all going" they back up into the wall. "We uh all have projects due soon and we want to get them done." Emmett and Rose run out the door to the forest. "Mom" I look at Alice. "Can you help me". I smile "Of course, What are you doing?" "American History" I sigh it's always  the same project that Alice forgets. "Where are going" I jump. Edward is standing right behind me. Both of them look at me "I'm going to have a break from here. Carlisle is dropping me off at the airport later. " Alice grabs my arm "Where are you going?" I shrugg  "your Father's going to tell me when we go." "Can we work on my project?" Then Alice and Edward immediately run out of the room and are back in about a minute. A history book is in her arms and a bunch in paper and pens are in Edwards. 

One hour later ..... 

After about a hundred projects of American History ,we finally finish. Alice puts it in her bag. The sky is slowly changing into night. "You should get ready for hunting" Alice nods and slowly gets to her feet crashing into a corner of a table. Edward,Jasper and Rose come downstairs. "I'm going hunting tonight" I nod "It's about time". The door opens and Carlisle comes in. "Ready" He goes up and grabs my suitcase "where are you going" Rose narrows her eyes at me. "I don't know. Haven't you already been hunting" she shakes her head. "I've been in the woods just to calm down".  I look at Carlisle "Sit down and talk" as she sits down , she immediately puts her hands in her face. I sits next to her "what happened?"  She sighed "There was this girl. She kept on annoying me." "How was she a doing it" Rose just puts her face into her hands. "My bag" she mumbles. Carlisle goes and grabs her bag and opens it. Papers spill out and one  paper lands at his feet. He reads it and he looks up. "Rosalie. Why didn't you tell any of us. Even Emmett". He hands me the paper and I read it. 

Dear. Rosalie Cullen , I don't know if you who I am but I know what you are. A freak. You should belong in a prison. You shouldn't be here. Go back where you were.

I look at both of them. Rose still not looking at us and Carlisle looking upset. I hug Rose "Carlisle will get control over this. Rose it's alright. Rose, sweetie look at me". Her eyes looked wild. "I want to kill her." I look desperately at Carlisle. "Emmett" he shouts up the stairs.  A minute later Emmett there. "Take Rose and try to calm her down." He nods. "I'll be back soon and I can take her". 

I go outside and get into the car. Everything dulls out for a minute. "Esme" I look at Carlisle. He hands me tickets. "There's a house on this island". I nod "Are you sure you're ok" I nod again. As soon as we get to the airport he pulls up to drop off. "Are you sure you are going to be ok with the kids?" "I'll be fine. Remember to call me if you need me" He kisses me then pulls away. I sigh and hope that I can find my way through the airport.
