"the thing about being one in a million

 is that it is statistically improbable"

you told me that you fought the world

and it had been you who won

but you had only been following the rules of the game

trust me, it's easier that way.

i have long given up the illusion of being

the one

at least openly where the the notion could be shot down 

and popped by the very atmosphere

for being so full of air

after all aren't we all in our own minds?

i have never met a person that thought themself 

ordinary

the crowd never recognizes the crowd as including themselves

so i don't need your earnest yet misguided words

to bring me back into that mess
