i'm scared to fall in love

for the fear of falling out of it

back into the grasp of gravity

after i've become addicted to the clouds

and high on the feeling of being there with you

because if it all crashes

you'll be alright

but i am not immortal

nor do i have wings

that wouldn't melt in your presence
