Bella
I just assumed you would have known already. Plus, I thought Nathaniel would have known before anyone

Emily
Oh God he isn't back with her again is he?

Bella
How am I meant to know? He's your brother. Don't you know what he gets up to??

Emily
Yeah, but you how he is with Jane :|||

Bella
Oh by the way can you PLEASE talk to Yoongi? He's been bugging me to get you to talk to him for hours now

Emily
Yeah I will soon. I just have a few things I have to sort out first

Bella
Please do otherwise Yoongi may just make me start to lose my brain cells

She pressed her finger against the sharp button, a ring exiting the house as she waited patiently. Dusk was slowly washing away the palette of colours from the day, stranded leaves and petals being swept by the evolving wind.

A melody of clicks brought her attention back to the wooden door, soon agape to reveal the character she had expected. Yet, he was drawn differently to what she was accustomed to.

His figure was full, a small volume of radiation igniting from his skin. The dark pools that had previously clung to his eyes had left no trace of their presence. He looked healthy. The most healthy he had been in weeks.

And yet, she couldn't make herself oblivious to the look in lingering in his eyes. A dusk repulsed slither encircling itself around his pupils almost like a constrictor.

"Emily." He spoke out, barely audible to the girl.

"Jungkook I--" She aspired to speak, only to have Jungkook invade her words with his own.

"You don't need to say anything." Declared Jungkook as he let the door creak shut, swiftly breaking through the borders of her personal space. "I-I know you've come to apologise... but no matter how much I can debate over it with morals and ethics... you did the right thing."

She took a double shot at him, unsure of if she was trapped in a hallucination of her guilt.

"I did?" She puzzled.

"Yes, you did... I don't want to admit it... but you were right. From what you've told me... I-I-I'm acting just like your Dad... and I know what he did... s-so I guess it would be safer for everyone if... I-I'm maintained this way." His speech was hesitant, clearly not comfortable with the words.

"Can I just ask one thing?" He spoke through a hush, earning a nod as a reply.

"Do you know if... t-that guy was a-a good person?"

"Well... would his name be on the National Sex Offenders list if he was?" She answered through a question. A current of relief washing through him. "Jungkook... I need your help."

"With what?" He puzzled, only just recognising the warm skin engulfed by his hands.

Eyes coiling to his fingers, he saw the picture. Emily's lightly tanned hands drowning in his beige ones. Joining the evidence together to realise that he had reached for her at some point during his confession.

"Jane has gone missing and I'm pretty sure it's to do with the original cursed from the morning Sofia died." She explained, her mind attempting to neglect Jungkook's silk touch sending her mind into pure turmoil. "The last place she was seen was Kole Town... so I thought we could try and find something there." She slowly started to hesitate.

"So?" She asked.

"Of course I'll go with you." He smiled, everything that had happened erased from the fragrance of their conversation.

He was slowly starting to realise what Emily really was.

A narcotic.

She numbed the pain of him losing his humanity. She made him blind to the beastly reflection he now owned. She made him deaf to his own cries for this nightmare to end.

Experiencing withdrawal whenever she ceased to appear in his presence. Everything she made him oblivious to only came rushing back into him, making him more insatiable to her company.

Yet, he too found his role labelled as the category.

Manifesting hallucinations into her eyes.

Ripping away at her own sanity, making her believe that the sacrifices she gave to him wouldn't come without the consequences.

They were a danger to each other.

Sorry not much happened in this chapter but as I say LITERALLY EVERY TIME I'm sticking to a plan and there are going to be some chapters where stuff doesn't happen but I promise you I will try and make each chapter exciting so you won't stop reading :))
