Chapter 2 : Reunited

" What you didn't know? Seriously? said Gary. 'And I thought I was stupid...' " Where do you sign up?!"Ash practically yelled.

"Chill there Ashy-boy, not everyone gets to join, you know."said Gary."But I think you should be able to join. After all, you did compete in various leagues."

"He's right there, my boy.You just need to go to a nearby Pokemon Center to sign up." said Professor Oak.

"Wow really? Thanks a lot guys! I'm gonna go over to Viridian City right now!" replied Ash before running out of the lab. Pikachu! "I swear h---never mind..."

"C'mon Pikachu quick I wanna go sign up for this tournament."yelled Ash. Pika! yelled Pikachu before Ash bumped into someone. Pika...

"Hey watch you're going!"shouted a familiar voice."Calm down Mis--- Ash?!?!?!" yelled yet another familiar voice.

"Wait a sec...Misty, Brock?!"

"The one and only!"said Brock. "Jeez Ash you should look at where you're going next time or I'll come after you!"yelled Misty.(As always -_-)

"What are you guys doing here in Viridian City anyway?" asked Ash."I thought the both of you had a gym to take care of?"

"We are here to sign up for the tournament!"replied Misty. "We wouldn't miss fot the world!"

"Cool! Me and Pikachu were just about to go sign up too! Let's go together!"

"Sure!"replied Misty and Brock in unison.

As they were about to sign up,Ash was surprised by a familiar face he saw.

"Serena, is that you?"asked Ash quietly.

The girl who was identified as 'Serena' turned around.Even though they left no so long ago,Serena felt like it had been forever since they were reunited.

"Ash!"yelled Serena as she leaned in to hug Ash."And who is this Ash?"asked Misty in a vicious tone."Oh! This is Serena! She travelled alongside me with Clemont and Bonnie in the Kalos region! And Serena! This is Misty and Brock! Misty travelled with me to Kanto and Johto while Brock travelled with me through Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh!"

"Anyway I thought you were supposed to be in Hoenn? Why are you here?"questioned Ash.

"I heard about this tournament so I decided to come here to cheer on you and Clemont!" "Plus, Clemont and Bonnie are here too.I met them a while ago. They went to get a room for the three of us to stay in."

"Cool!"replied Ash.

"So um Ash."Serena blushed."Do you remember the ki---" "C'mon let's go sign up already!"yelled Misty interrupting Serena.

"Okay, okay Misty. Anyway what were you going to say?"

"Umm nothing! C'mon you should really sign up!"replied Serena with a slight tint of sadness in her voice. "Okay..."

"Nurse Joy!Oh you are as beautiful as---"said Brock before Misty hit him on the head."We are here to sign up! Not flirting with Nurse Joy!"said Misty.

"So are you here to sign up for the tournament?"asked Nurse Joy. "Yup!" Ash replied. "Great! Now please tell me your names."

"Ash Ketchum."

"Misty Waterflower."

"Brock..."

"Okay I have signed you up! Now have a nice day!"

"I'd love to stick around Ash but I need to go to Pewter City. I have a gym to take care of."said Brock.

"Same here."

"See ya later Ash!"

"Bye guys!"

"I need to go back too."said Ash while turning to Serena."See you soon?"

"Sure! Bye!"

"Bye!"

As Ash walked out of the Pokemon Center, little did he know that a mysterious person was eavesdropping on him."Hope we can battle at the tournament Ash." he said while smirking and walking quietly into the forest.
