Okay, I'm a bit salty over this — if you are writing Barry Fanfiction don't make Iris this hateful witch just because you don't like her. Maybe you don't like Harry Wells, sorry, but please don't make your OC hate him without a good reason.
Think of your character, would they get along with *insert character you don't like*? If the answers yes, at least try to write them as NOT mortal enemies.
An example is my book for Ralph Dibny, Young — I don't like Iris very much, I don't hate her but I prefer her staying quiet and ya know. . .dead — anyways, I don't like Iris but her and Casey are basically sisters. This can also happen in reverse; Caitlin is my favorite character and yet you never see Casey and Caitlin having a one on one conversation.
Don't be bias, don't bring your personal opinions into a story. Please and thank you. Rant over.
