'I'm so tired' chaeyoung is almost falling asleep now her eyes felt like they want to just get a 5 minutes rest
she's getting another late night works plus her bruised wrist didn't help much either
There's not anyone around beside the janitors and some other poor employees who's getting night works also
She looks at the bandaid that wrapped around her wrist
"Who could it be ?" In fact all day she can't stop thinking about mr or maybe miss delivery
That's what she called him/her because she still didn't know who she/he is
The only person she can think of is none other than jeon jungkook
But she didn't want to get her hopes high yet
She also consider her brother but she already called to ask if he delivered anything and she still remember what her brother said
"Why did i delivered something to your office if i can just give it to you at home"
That's kinda true and after that her brother just called her stupid while chuckling
She just want to say thank you to that person
While still wondering about the mystery person
She didn't realize someone walk up to her cubicle
"Chaeyoungie ?" She jolted in her seat hearing her name being called
"Halmeoni ?" She's surprised to see jungkook's grandma standing there in front of the elevator carrying some containers which she guess are full of foods
"Chaeyoung-ah ! I'm so glad i run into you ! So you're working here too ? How come you didn't tell me ?!"
Chaeyoung just chuckled and walk over to give a hug
"I miss you too halmeoni ! What are you doing here so late halmeoni ? You should be resting at this hour" chaeyoung scold the older woman while her hands by her hips trying to look intimidating
While in the older woman's eyes , chaeyoung just looks too cute to be angry
"I was just looking for jungkook's office to give him these because he can forget his dinner sometimes" showing the containers of food in her hand "and because it's a big building , considering my age , i have no doubt that i will get lost" making chaeyoung laugh at her remark
"Awww that is so sweet of you halmeoni !" Chaeyoung chuckle seeing such love from the older woman and decided to help her "i can take you to CEO-nim's office"
"i was about to ask you for help but you beat me to it"
"That looks heavy halmeoni , let me take some of it" chaeyoung said seeing the older woman's hands are full
"You are such and angel my dear"
They take the elevator and chaeyoung push the 53th button which is the highest floor and from there she lead the way to a room with a big black door
She know his office because she listen to people's gossiping especially females employees that the 53th floor can not be entered unless you've been called by the CEO-nim and the whole 53th floor is all his
The arrived and chaeyoung was just about to knocks the door when halmeoni beat her to it
"Jungkook !" The older woman happily open the doors making chaeyoung startled and then she called his name which also startled jungkook
"Halmeoni ? Jesus ! You scared me" he said eyes shock to see his grandma and even more so seeing chaeyoung with her
while the older just act nonchalant and casually took her seat in the sofa
"How many times i have to tell you not to skip your dinner jungkook" the older said with her hands cross "i will not leave until i see you eat" the older makes herself clear "you're grown up for goodness sake ! I can't babysit you forever"
Jungkook just sigh because he know he can't win especially with his grandma "okay okay , i'm sorry i missed my dinner and i will not do it again" he said even though he knew that his grandma will never believe him
Chaeyoung's heart warms up seeing the cute argument happening before her but soon realized that she needs to go back so she awkwardly walk in and place the foods on the table "halmeoni , i'll be going back now" she smile and is about to walk away when the older stop her
"Chaeyoung-ah why don't you just join us besides, i think i brought too many foods" chaeyoung smiled feeling grateful that jungkook's grandma cares for her "thank you halmeoni but i think i need to go back to finish my works" but she didn't feel comfortable enough to eat with jungkook
He's the CEO for god sake!
Besides she still have a lot of works waiting for her
Jungkook on the other hand surprisingly didn't mind nor reject his grandma's offer considering the amount of coincidences he had with chaeyoung under awkward circumstances , it's safe to say that he's okay with her
Which is suprising for him because whenever he's told by his grandma to go do blind dates with other heiress , he always say no . He hates women. Except his grandma.
"Chaeyoung-ah , I know you're a hardworking person but you should pay attention to your health too" the older scold while trying hard to make a stern expression "besides , your work can wait for a bit"
"But halmeo--"
"No more buts" the older woman makes a gesture with her hands "now sit down"
Chaeyoung sigh and start to sit down beside the older woman
Halmeoni claps her hands in excitement "here try this and this , i made it all myself" she offered all the side dishes to chaeyoung "thank you halmeoni"
Chaeyoung seeing so much amazing looking foods before her eyes makes her forget the uncomfortable feeling and replace it with so much happiness , you can see how her eyes sparkles
"OMO ! What happen to your wrist ?" The older suddenly stops what she was doing after realizing there's a bandage wrapped around chaeyoung's wrist "it's fine halmeoni , it's just a little accident while i was cooking dinner yesterday" chaeyoung explain with a lie and a convincing smile
Jungkook hearing her lie already know why she have to do that but he still can't comprehend on why her dad hate her so much , in his point if view , she's an innocent .
'Too innocent' he thought
"You should be careful sweetheart" the older woman caress her hair "or if you want to eat something you can just tell me" she laugh hearing such a heartwarming comment
her stomach suddenly started to grumble quite loudly making chaeyoung cup her red face and looking down in embarrassment
"I knew it! You know , stomach never lie" The older woman tease and laugh at chaeyoung's embarrassed face
Meanwhile
'Cute' jungkook thought unconsciously chuckle seeing her cupping her cheeks
'Nope , not cute not at all' he quickly shook his head and focus back on eating
"Thank you halmeoni for these" even though she's a little bit shy to eat in front of strangers especially that strangers happen to be her boss and his grandma, but she still feels grateful and for sure will eat these foods that already been asking to be devoured
"It's nothing ! Oh my gosh ! You look like a chipmunk chaeyoung-ah , i just wanna squish your cheeks" she smile seeing chaeyoung eating her foods with gusto "she's so cute right , jungkook-ah ?"
Jungkook coughs after being asked and just sit still quietly eating his foods
"No i'm not" chaeyoung just laugh it off hoping that the topic will change
"Yes you are !" Halmeoni retorted back "look at these fluffy cheeks" while poking at her cheeks
"No-" she was about to replied back
"Yes you are"
She was cut off by a familiar deep and husky voice that instantly makes her look up to him while the latter just realized that he just speak his mind out loud
