"Sand man!" I screamed waiting for the response. Nothing that's all I hear. "I said sand man!" Still nothing. I know they're still playing, walking up a few more steps blindly. I start to hear a ca-thug ca-thug noise on my right. I reach out my hand and catch Jake.

"How did you know I was there?"

Quick thought "I heard you breathing."

“I wasn't breathing...your cheating!" he accused

"OK, OK I heard your heart beat." I admitted

"What! My heart beat you freak even I can't hear it."

“I don't know, I could just hear it."

"Marianna time for dinner!"

"Mom now?" I yelled towards my house. I know the answer even though she doesn't yell back.

"OK we'll see you tomorrow Marianna, good game." Says Jake's little sister Abby. They both run home for dinner. I ran home washed my hands and set the table.

Tonight for dinner we're having steak and red sauce. Ya, I know what you’re thinking ketchup, no but it's this amazing sauce that is an old family recipe. My mom says that I'll learn it when I'm older. It's like a thick, crimson red wine. We eat it at every meal. Breakfast, cereal and red sauce. Lunch, ham, ketchup and red sauce sandwich. Dinner, Steak and red sauce or spaghetti and red sauce with meatballs.

"Mom, can I have Jake over tomorrow?" I already know the answer but I think if I ask he allot she'll say yes.

"No dear, you know this. Now drink you milk you want healthy teeth don't you?"

"Yes mom." I moan. This is a normal night at the Jones house.
