Skating to the net, he shots the puck........right into the glove of the goalie.
As they started in the center again, my coach yells "SWITCH IT UP!" I step on the ice.

I started the face-off, the ref throws the puck down, I shove #7 down, skating down with the puck towards the net. Shoving everyone out of my way, making my way to the far left side, actually make it in the net, the buzzer goes off.
"SCORE!! SOLANO #88 scores the first goal in the first 5 minutes of the game. What a great way to start the game."

You can tell my coach doesn't have a lot of patience nor does he give much of the other players a chance.
A couple more goals later , made by yours truly, and we won the game. As I was leaving the ice, I see my coach talking to a short dude and I can tell that he is happy with what he is hearing.
