"but if Judro gets back, she's a goner" he tells us

I look at genko worried

"she'll be fine, she can take care of herself" genko says

genko grabs my hand that has the arm slashed.

"I told you to hide... you aren't as trained as Bird or sensei" genko tells me

" I tried but it was to late" I tell him, my widen as his hands glow a bright green.

my cut feels better immediately.

"thanks" I say as he finishes re wrapping my arm with a new bandage.

"you guys are really young..." the guy says having a hard time breathing

"I feel like this is your first mission" he tells us

neither of us reply but we here the bushes rustle and get on guard with our kunai drawn.

rin appears with blood all splashed on her arms and legs.

"are you ok?" genko asks

"hai.. it isn't mine" rin tells him

he nods and turns to look down at the guy that once looked so strong.

he looked so fragile now

"we have to move now" rin says

"you didn't get him?' genko asks

"I did but another saw us" she tells us

"what about him?" I ask

"we kill him..." rin says not showing any emotion

"wh-what!?" I say surprised

"she right its protocol" genko agrees.

"I thought she was going to be the one acting like a little girl" the guy says with a small laugh in his voice

"may you rest in peace" rin says as she slices his neck killing him.

I stare speechless

"come on we have to go" rin says

genko is ready and seems unfazed by the death.

"Bear..." genko says

"hai" I say following them

"sensei we are safe, heading to safe point" she says into the mic

"are the disposed of?" sensei whispers

"yes, I took care of it" she tells him

"sensei you should get out" genko says

"I was seen, they will be most likely start searching the place" rin says

"hai, me and the captured are sneaking out now" sensei says

I think of how it seemed so easy and normal rin seemed when she had killed that man... and how unaffected she seemed about it right at this moment... it shocked me.

I didn't want to believe it, it just didn't seem like her at all and genko seemed fine with it too..'

I mean it was their first time ever having to do something like this, their first time in a real death battle and they seemed fine.

barely hurt or mentally scarred, I on the other hand was shocked and didn't like this at all. it felt wrong even if it was the ninja way.

we had reached our safe place and were now waiting on sensei and the others.
