Josie and Lizzie now resided in their room. After the student council election Lizzie had stormed away from the scene, Josie not far behind. It had been silent in the room for far to long as Lizzie sat cross legged on the ground and Josie on the bed. The brunette Saltzman was terrified by her sisters silence. Surely Lizzie hated her in this moment.

"Lizzie is there anything I can do?" Josie asked quietly, careful not to upset her sister further.

"Shh," Lizzie said, silencing her guilt ridden twin sister. Josie moved closer to Lizzie, squatting down along side the blonde.

"Please don't be mad, I don't know why Penelope would do this." Josie begged as placed her hand on Lizzes forearm.

"I'm trying to rise above it. So let me freaking  rise." Lizzie demanded.

"I can step down, and the runner up can take my place. You can take my place, will just ask dad about it." Josie said, trying to find any way to make her sister happy once again.

"I thought of that as well, but when I talked to Emma about it. Well it turns out I wasn't the runner up either." Lizzie said angrily. The blonde then stood up and without a word made her way out the door not wanting to talk anymore.

Josie knew that following her sister would only result in more drama. So she simply stayed put in her room. She hated knowing that so many people were mad at her. It felt like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders.

The brunette collapsed onto her bed with a heavy sigh. She stared at her ceiling replaying everything that had went wrong that day. Flashes of both Lizzie and Lane's disappointed faces ran through her head constantly.

"Oh I'm such an idiot." The girl said to herself. She turned and buried her head into her pillow. Trying to make an attempt to fall asleep. Pushing away all the hatred she had for herself that night.

Lane had laid in her bed all that next morning. She was avoiding her problems, something she became very good at over the years. She didn't want to face Josie. Not after what happened last night, the hybrid couldn't handle it.

However Lane hadn't been alone once since she came into her room last night. Hope had been sitting next to the girl all night and all throughout the morning. Lane appreciated what her friend was doing, but the hybrid also knew that at some point Hope would make her leave her bed and face her problems.

"Lane you have to go talk to her," Hope said, rubbing the hybrids back. Trying not to say Josie's name to much in case Lane was still as upset as she was last night.

"No I'm not going to talk to her." Lane refused. The two had been going back and forth on this all morning. Hope persistently pushing the hybrid to see the Saltzman. Lane refusing to do so and curling back into her bed.

The Mikealson loved her friend more than words can explain but she was fed up with Lane's stubbornness. Hope grabbed the blankets that covered the hybrids body. Exposing the teen to the cold air but still Lane held her ground and remained in bed. Hope huffed at the girl in annoyance and stomped away.

Lane smirked in victory thinking she had finally convinced her best friend to leave her be. The hybrid jolted up however when she felt a splash of freezing water hit her body. As she jumped out of bed Lane saw Hope holding a now empty cup with a smug look on her face.
