(33) Mated to the alpha of rogues

"it went well, except for Naois who just got on Andrés bad side" Iris laughs grabbing the sizzling sausage from the pan and taking a big bite.

my eyes widen "you were there?"

does that mean she saw the kiss as well? but how could she? she was waiting outside of the cave...

"Andrés and Amma also made out for like ten minutes"

I choke on my coffee " NO!"

"yes!" both of Iris and Cameron yell in the same tone mocking me

"it's happening, my plan worked" Cameron squeals jumping up and down, he looked ridiculous especially since he was just wearing sweats and an apron, with no shirt underneath.

"I get to name their first child," Iris says

I take my hair of the ponytail it was in and use it to cover my face, I know for sure I was blushing and that would have triggered Cameron even more.

"actually Amma already said I can name all of their children" Cameron lies

"when did I say that?" I ask

"so you are thinking about pups" Iris wiggles her brows " that's cute"

my face heats up "uh- no! I'm just saying-"

" you know I'm the reason that they're kissing" the alpha brags

iris scoffs " no you're not"

"yes, i am! I sacrificed myself for their love!" Cameron growls " what did you do? leave? like you always do?"

thank goddess, they got off my back.

"how dare you? for your information, while I was away i did more work then you!"

slowly I put the coffee mug down while Cameron and Iris continue to argue over literally who's helped me and Andrés more, it was funny and as much I wanted to sit there and watch them I knew that I had to find ibenez.

I inhale in and let my nose do the searching, I catch his scent in an instant, that's good, it means he is in the castle somewhere. I climb the stairs and his scent gets stronger, he is in one of these rooms!

I exhale and inhale as I continue to walk towards where the smell is the strongest and his scent leads me to a door, a familiar door. This was my room when i first got here!

"please be open" I beg as i twist the doorknob, it opens! luck must be on my side today!

the first thing that catches my attention is not Ibenez but the ropes wrapped around his wrist and ankles, my eyes widen at the sight.

"Ibenez?" I run to him untying them all.

"i'm going to kill them" Ibenez snarls spitting out the material that was stuffed into his mouth

I run to the door and close it " no, sit down"

" Amma move!" ibenez snaps

I sigh " sit down and calm down first "I tell him

"they tied me up like I'm sort of rogue!" the beta yells " they're the ones that should be tied up"

"well, what did you do?" I ask

I don't think samael will tie Ibenez without reason, i wasn't tied to the bed like ibenez was.

ibenez walks back to the bed and sits down scoffing " what did i do?" he whispers to himself not believing that i just asked him that.

" yea, did you threaten them because they don't like that," i tell him

"no i stabbed one of them," ibenez says "sadly they took my knife before-"

"what?!" i cut him off

"why are you shocked?-" ibenez pauses his eyes darkening " what is that? on your neck Amma?"

shoot shoot shoot.

i grab a handful of hair and try to cover my neck, hoping ibenez didn't see anything " nothing!"

"that doesn't look like nothing," the beta says

i touch the nape of my neck but the right side where i knew the mark wasn't, hopefully, my plan to confuse him works.

"Oh, this!" i say " a mosquito bite, there's was a pack meeting and i spent like two hours in the woods- "

ibenez cuts me off and by the disappointed look on his face, i know he figured it out. "Your mate is a nightwalker, that's why you've been sticking up for them- that's why your scent - that's why it's different... you're one of them"

i swallow hard, i didn't know my scent changed, what does that even mean.

" ibenez" i start off

what do i tell him?

do I tell him that i am mated to Andrés AkA cessair? The alpha of all alpha!

the one that's in our history books, the one that we tell scary stories about, the alpha that caused wars all around the world.

Do i tell him that my mate is the alpha of all rogues and son of lycaon the first werewolf and Selene the moon goddess?

or do i tell him about the curse? that i need to break it before the blood moon?

just thinking about it makes it seem like I am making all this it up, if i do tell him he's going to think i've gone crazy

" it's complicated, all of this is really complicated" is what i tell him because it is complicated and he won't be here to witness the rest of it so there's no need for me to fill him in.

" tell me one thing, which one is your mate?" Ibenez asks gritting his teeth

" is it the one with the long hair?"

"no" i shake my head

"please tell me it's not the alpha" he exhales frustrated " please anyone but him"

i look down " i'm mated to the alpha of rogues!"

hey, I know I said I was going to update yesterday, I had orientation day in the morning and I came back like 5:00 I went to sleep as soon as I got home.

I might update the next chapter today since I already started it so I'll see later!
