I just switched to a new school, again. I've moved around to four different schools, well and been kicked out of most of them because of my bad behavior. I've always despised school. But I was hoping to better myself because my mother, Jocelyn Fairchild, just got a new job here in Brooklyn, New York and she really wanted this so I would try my best to make her happy. She was an artist and painted almost every single day. My father, Valentine Morgenstern, is a scientist and an excperienced shadowhunter, a person who kills demons to protect the mundanes, and he also taught me and my brother how to kill demons. I have angel blood in my veins while my brother, Jonathan Morgenstern, is just a normal shadowhunter with just a little bit of demon blood. It didn't make such a difference that his blood was a little bit more demonic than other shadowhunters. Actually, it was an advantage because it was somewhat more difficult to kill him, which is a good thing when it comes to shadowhunting.
My whole family are shadowhunters, yes including me. I'm the most powerful in my family, I'm the strongest, fastest and fiercest. I am also very good at drawing. Because of the extra angel blood running through my veins I can create new runes that no one has ever seen before. Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself, I'm Clarissa Fairchild Morgenstern I'm about to start in a school called St. Xavier's.
