Lloyd laid in his bed, staring at the ceiling. He sighed as he listened to the sound of the wind, and rain hitting against the sides of the Destiny's Bounty. He glanced over at Zane, who sat on the floor with a cord plugged into the wall charging himself while playing Tetris. Lloyd glanced at Kai, who's bed was right across the room, the fire Ninja, was hugging his pillow and drooling onto the pillowcase. Cole's bed was the next one, he snored real loud. Then Jay, Lloyd didn't even have to look, he knew Jay was most likely half on the floor. Nya was in the next room, she and P.I.X.A.L shared a room, and Wu had his own room, where Garmadon now stayed in as well. Lloyd looked back at the ceiling above his bed, and sighed once more. Everyone on the Bounty was asleep. Everyone but him. He couldn't sleep. For one, he was still freaked out about what had happened, and two, he had an itsy bitsy little teeny tiny itty bitty fear of the dark. Mainly because of, The OverLord. The other ninjs didn't know, obviously, and Lloyd planned to keep it that way. Other then the fear and being freaked out, Cole's snoring could keep anyone from falling asleep. If you wake up before Cole, you're not getting anymore sleep. Lloyd sighed as crawled out of bed. If he couldn't sleep, there was no point in just lying there, staring at nothing. He muttered as he quietly hopped through the Halls of the Destiny's Bounty, headed for the kitchen. "Where's the chamomile tea?" He mumbled as he dug through the cabinet

"Lloyd? What're you doing up?" Lloyd looked behind him

"Oh hey Dad... I couldn't sleep..." Lloyd replied as he continued to dig through the cabinet

"I see, but tea isn't always the solution son."

"Please don't start making a speech about how I need to face what's bothering me..."

Garmadon sighed as he walked over to Lloyd. "I'm just saying that you should tell someone what's wrong."

"Well..." Lloyd started "Today," He looked at the clock, 11:30 pm "Today freaked me out." He stared at his feet. "W-When, when that Oni was... When he was using his powers on me, there was this... This golden light..." Lloyd kicked himself mentally, remembering how protective his father was when he was good. "You know what, nevermind, I'm sure it was nothing.... I'm probably worried about nothing..." Lloyd looked at the cabinet, saw what he'd been looking for "Hey look at that, Chamomile tea, heh found it..." Lloyd grabbed the tea leaves and began making a cup of tea

"Lloyd."

"Yeah Dad?"

"Tell me what happened."

"No, really Dad it's fine, nothing happened... I got hurt that's all..." Lloyd said as he made the tea

"Lloyd."

"I'm fine okay!?" Lloyd shouted. He rushed out of the kitchen, up onto the deck. As soon as he got outside, the cold night air chilled him. He looked up at the night sky, and thought about when he was a kid, before he had anyone, when he said, I'm fine, a lot more

Lloyd sat in a window in Darkly's Boarding School for Bad Boys. He looked out at the landscape. "Lloyd Garmadon. The Headmaster wants to see you." A teacher said as he walked into the room

"Too bad. I'm not talking to him." Lloyd replied

The teacher grabbed Lloyd's arm and tried to drag him to the Headmaster's office. Lloyd bit the teacher's hand. The teacher gasped and yelled for another teacher to come help him.

Lloyd grimaced at the memory of what had happened day after that. He looked at the back of his hand and traced the scar that was left from that day. As a wise person once said, some stories, are best left untold. And while Darkly's had been a school, it had also been a prison to most of the boys, and Lloyd had been one of the prisoners. Painful memories from his childhood, and scares to remind him of said memories. Some of the scars, he'd long forgotten where they came from, and hoped it would stay that way.

Lloyd sighed and began to head back to the kitchen. He hoped his father had gone back to bed. He didn't notice, the dark vine-like clouds that were making their way across the deck and following him.

Lloyd poked his head into the kitchen. "Dad went back to bed." He sighed in realif as he walked in and grabbed the tea he had been making. "I might just get some sleep tonight..." He joked as he poured himself a cup of tea. He took a sip as he quietly turned towards the kitchen door

"Hello, Hybrid." A voice said as he turned

Lloyd dropped his tea. "Omega." He backed up into the counter

Omega laughed "No where to run Hybrid. There is no escape."

"No, I've defeated an Oni before, I can defeat another one."

"Oh, but before, OverLord was the one you fought. I am not he." Omega stepped closer, Lloyd was just out of reach now. "And he, clearly underestimated you."

"Let me guess, you won't?"

"That's right Hybrid." Omega grabbed Lloyd, to quickly for him to dodge. Lloyd yelled in pain as gold light shined around him. "Your grandfather was wise to seal off the strongest of your powers, but he wasn't wise enough to keep me from finding the weakness!"

The other Ninja ran into the kitchen. "Lloyd!" Kai yelled as Garmadon rushed into the group

"My son!" Garmadon shouted

The Oni laughed as purple magic encased Lloyd, who was screaming in agony. "Soon your son will either die or join the Oni." Soon Omega dropped Lloyd, who had blacked out. "It's not his choice to make."
