Ch 7: Only a Strip of red Velvet

Winter POV

Three of my seven are visible to everyone now and they all came to visit me!

I hummed happily running a brush through my hair as Veternum lounged on my bed, freshly woken from a nap, his blonde hair sticking out in several directions. He yawned, blinking at me, "Hey Winter. You seem happier, Medicus said you were having some issues with Felix."

I spun to face him, grinning, "He because visible to everyone! So did Sternumenta and Stulta!"

Another yawn, "thats cool. I had a dream like that once."

"Did you?" I flopped onto the bed beside him, "how did it end."

"I dont know, I went to sleep in the dream and woke up in real life."

I giggled at the pout on his freckled face, "hey Vet? Will you become visible too?"

He shrugged, "Can visible me nap?"

"Always."

"Then sure, I don't see why not. I think since Felix is gone I'm gonna crash here tonight okay?"

My brows furrowed as he pulled the blankets over us, "what does Felix have to do with any of that? You are always welcome."

He snorted, opening one eye, "Felix has tossed me out of a warm bed on more than one occasion in your name."

"Why?"

He chuckled a bit, "ask him."

"He doesn't remember anything about us."

"I doubt he's changed though. Felix could forget his own name, and he would still be the same when it comes to you Winter."

I snuggled into the sheets too, "thats silly he would keep me company at night all the time."

The blonde looked at me, faintly amused, "I know."

"But he kicked you out?"

The boy flinched, "once when I wouldn't let you go in my sleep he pulled me out by my hair."

I gaped at him, "thats so mean! He took it too far."

Veternum shrugged, "I get it, but he's still a moron. Either way, if you have a bad dream Winter, dump some water on me or something."

"Wait." I whined a bit, "don't you want to hear about their visit."

Another yawn, "in the morning."

Pouting I nodded, "okay."

He tossed an arm over me, "you're warm, perfect for sleeping."

"I'm not a bedwarmer Vet."

"Your body heat says otherwise"

He was out before I could even respond, I followed soon after.

I yawned a bit, shivering from the cold as Felix prodded at the fire, bringing dim light to the cave.

He looked at me with grey eyes filled with worry, "Winter you look like your freezing your lips are starting to turn blue, come here."
