"Soon now take a seat."

Doing as he says Erin and I found ourselves plastered against each window.

Bubbles began to rile up as the loud beeping was coming from uncle's computer.

Even though we could see, we could still barely make out until a hand pressed up against the glass window from outside caught my attention.

"Collin look there she is." Erin gasps.

There she is indeed. She was smiling, her hair was flowing, her tail was dancing and she is still naked but here she is.

"Uncle can she hear me?"

"Unfortunately no but we can hear her."

Turning up the volume, sound waves came through the speakers, a soft sweet melody playing. "One day I will make a translator so we can hear what she is saying."

"That would be awesome uncle." My eyes never leaving Kara's as I placed my hand on the glass window too just where her hand is.

She has such tiny dainty hands that I wish I could hold forever.

"She is beautiful." Erin gleamed.

"I take it you two kids like my surprise."

"Like, uncle I love it."

Kara pulled back swimming back and forth like she was dancing while uncle tried to follow her with the submarine.

It must have been hard for him because this isn't like a car, this was a freaking boat under water.

I don't know how long it's been but she kept singing and dancing while as for me I could watch her all day.

Every once in a while she would go back further to where I am unable to see her but appear out of no where into another glass window.

We were having a moment, even uncle came to join us while he had put this submarine on cruise control.

Erin was laying down already a fast asleep when suddenly a loud piercing screech barreled through the speakers, "What the fuck?"

Uncle rushed towards the control while Erin jumped from her sleep, "What the hell was that?"

Another loud piercing screech came, more this time and my first thought was Kara. She was gone but I know that couldn't have been her.

"Ummm..." Uncle responded, "There is something out there."

Both Erin and I ran up to uncle looking at the screen. There were red dots on the screen four to be exact.

"This is Kara right here." He pointed next to a red dot that was next to our green dot while there were three other dots up ahead heading towards us. "And these red dots, I don't know what they are but they are coming in fast."

"Sharks?" Erin panicked.

"No, sharks don't come down this deep." What uncle said was true. And we were deep.

"What about Kara?" As I said this we all screamed feeling the submarine crash into something.

"What was that?" Erin clutched onto me.

It was like we were crashing with mountains but there was none where we were.

"Kara." Shaking Erin off I ran towards the window searching for her when I found her at the back.

Knocking at the window I seen fear plastered on her face, "Kara." I just hope she can read my lips. "Go up, go to the beach." She just looked at me, her brows furrowing while looking around.

Finally the screams had stopped and the submarine was no longer shaken.

It was quiet almost too quiet until something was scratching this metal machine we were in.

It was like when you scratch a car with sharp nails. It just gave me prickly skin.

"Kara go up." I yelled once again pointing up wards.

She nodded until she was instantly pulled what look like something pulled her and her melodic voice came on speakers.

I may not know what she is saying but from what it sounds like she is screaming in shear fright. "Kara!"

I pressed my hand against the window. "Uncle something grab Kara."

"Who, who grabbed Kara?" Erin was at my side also trying to make sense.

Another loud banging at some of the lights from outside went out. "Shit, our lights are out." Uncle cursed. And he never curses.

"What does that mean?"

"Nothing, it's just we can't really see what is going on out there."

More screeches and more bumps along the way. "We have to get out of here?"

"No, what about Kara?" I yelled.

"Collin, I'm sure she is fine. I mean she has lived here for years so I'm sure she knows what she is dealing with."

I know Erin means well but what if she deals with this every day. How am I suppose to leave her if I know the water isn't safe for her.

"No, uncle don't you have an emergency hatch in case...."

"You are not going out there." Uncle scolded.

I sighed defeatedly while my eyes were now focusing on the window where I last saw her until something pressed up against the window itself. It was hard to tell but I smiled because I know the back  of her head from anywhere.

"Kara." I knocked on the window to make sure she is okay.

She didn't turn around however, she stood still almost as if she was dead but she wasn't when her hand faced palmed the window. "See Collin she is fine." Erin breath in a sigh of relief.

It was still dark but the water became dis colored in Kara's area. "Uncle." I called only for him to rush to us.

Uncle gawked at Kara before looking at me with a worried expression. "Uncle what is it?"

Slowing turning around, Kara had a pained expression, "Kara."

"No, Collin looked." Erin pointed with her finger while my eyes followed her finger.

A shock and frantic expression now etch on my face, there just below her waist was a spear through her body, "Kara."

With one of of her hand, she tried to pry the spear out of her. "Kara!" I yelled again. "Uncle do something."

Uncle just looked as worried as I. I knew there was nothing we could do as blood seemed to leak out of her.

"Kara." I banged on the window, "Look at me."

Looking at my lips she blinked before smiling, her lips parting as more of that sweet melody poured out and her song became deathly silence when she was once again forcefully pulled into the dark waters. Tears began to fall.

I felt Erin holding me for support when a slight tap was plastered on the window, "Kara?" I prayed for it to be her.

I stared in shock. It was a hand alright, but not her hand. This hand seemed bony and webbed like with long fingernails as it scratches the surface of the submarine.

"Ahhh..." Erin screamed closing her eyes shut with a pair of yellow beady eyes reflected of the glass.
