"don't go" newt muttered not realising your eyes fluttering open,
your eyes fully open, you see newt sitting there.
"y/n!" newt shouts, as he sees you looking at him.
"wa? what happened? why am i here?" you exhale loudly,
"you were stung by a griev-" newt gets cut off by your screams.
at that moment teresa runs into the room,
"newt, you didn't tell me she woke up!" teresa says, glaring at him.
she hesitantly rummaged through a draw at the back of the room. she grabbed a serum and stabbed it into your arm.
you yelped as i feel newt's hand grab yours.
"she'll be ok newt, for now anyway" teresa says, smiling at you.
you try your best to smile back.
teresa leaves the room leaving you and newt alone. you hear teresa and the others talking as newt gazed into your eyes.
"you'll be ok, i know you will, you're tough" he says a smile forming across his face.
"i... i..."
"you..?" newt says hope in his eyes.
"i love you, newt" you say, as he rubbed his fingers across your forehead.
"i love you too y/n, forever..."
