07. newt; imagine ²

imagine having a game of hide and seek with newt in the glade, but with a twist

"i'm hiding first, you can find me..." you whisper in newt's ear, smirking, resting your hand on his relaxed shoulders. he gazed into your eyes, playfulness sparkling in his eyes. he starts to count to 30.

"one... two... thre-"
you run, far away from newt. you end up crouching behind a tree, near where ben attacked thomas. Memories flash before your eyes as newt tackles you to the ground with a bear hug, his body cushioning the impact of the fall. you squeal as he starts to tickle your stomach.
"that isn't going to work.."
"what?" newt chuckles,
"trying to get me to kiss you by tickling me"
newt's face turns red as you found your way into his thoughts.

newt starts to move away as you put your hand on his face and gaze into his eyes.
there was a moment of silence as newt cuts it of by pressing his lips gently upon yours. that moment felt like it lasted ages.

"i've always wanted to do that" newt saying pulling away from the kiss.
"now i can kiss you all the time"
