Chapter 14

    I lay down in my bed after Jimin left. I thought about him and his smile, and the way he kissed my cheek. I don't understand the boy and how he could do this to me. I didn't like that he would be away from me either. He was with all the good-looking and attractive men and I was not with him to protect him. I don't want him to be away from me.

In fact, I would wake up everyday and only mildly complain just so that way I could go to work with him. Then, I had a bright idea. I scrambled out of bed and put on my nicest clothes that I had. This was a black button-down shirt and some white skinny jeans that I had bought when Jiminie and I went shopping last night.

I brushed my hair into a semi-put together look and parted the beads of the room to go see Namjoon. After about 5 minutes, and turning around in circles, I had realized that I have no idea where he was or his office. I walked back towards my room and saw a man rushing out wearing patterned robe-like clothing. He was in a rush, his red hair not brushed and struggling to put on his sandal shoes.

Hobi... I thought.

He kept running, now with his shoes on, down a series of hallways. I remember now that Jimin said that it was going to be awkward working with Hobi being their past together.

But that's not going to stop me from trying to get a job working with Jimin.

So, what better way to find Namjoon's office than follow the man running in bright colors down the halls?

I follow Hobi until I reach a dead end and a door swinging shut. I lean on the door, placing my forehead against it and take a deep breath in. This was it, either I was going to embarrass myself and Jimin or it would work and Namjoon would let me have a job. I'm honestly terrified. I also didn't want Jimin losing his job either. I took another breath in and out as I clutched my hand to my chest. I could feel my heart racing with excitement and adrenaline.

Well, I guess it's now or never.
