He wakes up because of the city lights as I fall my wings over the buildings. "Did I tire you? I'm sorry if I did. I'm heavy." He sits up. "I live at the old house at the end of that street." He points to a less crowded street. I dive that way.

As we land, he lets out a small yawn. He is legit cute, to be honest, but it's too early to think about him that way. I screech as he walks in the house. "Thank you. Won't you come in?" I stretch my wings and frown. "Do I look like I can fit through those walls?" I think, forgetting I can change forms. "As a human." He answers my question. I transform quickly. "If it wouldn't disturb you."
"Please. Come in." He leads me to his room, passing a whole arena inside the house. "Mansion. I correct myself.

As we reach his room, I realize that he has a relatively big room, but not that much furniture. A basic bed, a bed head table, a desk and a chair, a closet, some mangas on the desk, two armchairs looking over the sea. That's all he has in the room. He sits on one of the chairs and invites me to join him. He looks over the sea dreamily. "Will you answer my questions now?" I nod. "Sure." He sighs. "Why did you save me?" He asks.
"I felt like I couldn't lose you, too."
"Too?"
"I already lost my parents because I wasn't strong enough...fast enough...I was just a brat. I...didn't want to lose you." He blushes. "Oh." He looks at me. "We aren't that different after all." I notice the bruise on his eye. We watch the waves in silence.

After some time, I talk.
"If we are going to keep flying together, you should know some facts. It's important for your safety." He turns his attention to me. "Yes indeed." I nod.
"First of all, I weight a few tons when I'm in that form. You can't possibly be heavy on me. Second, you should trust me that I would never let you fall." I see a darker shade of pink fall on his cheeks. "You should also know that you should stay as close as possible to my body while going fast." He smirks. I get what he thinks. I grin too. "And last, I'm a dragon, which means I can shoot out plasma balls. My wings are bulletproof. I can't be frozen or burnt down. Also..." he looks at me carefully. "There's a second stage of my quirk I haven't gotten to yet. It's the titan stage. That is the strongest I will ever get." He nods. "Why haven't you gotten to that yet?" I wait a moment to answer. "Because it's not safe." He nods again. His silence is peaceful, I want to stay with him all night. He reaches for his phone, and shows me a photo of how I looked when we were flying. I look at myself, the swift black dragon. I chuckle. "It's a beautiful quirk, Y/n." I blush even harder. My cheeks are bright red. "W-what's yours?" I ask. He points to his hair. "Half  hot half cold. " he says. My eyes wide open. "You have two quirks?" He chuckles. "No-no I don't. To put it shortly, quirk marriage." I smirk. "That's where you get your hair style, too?" He tilts his head to one side. "What do you mean? I don't do anything to my hair." I lean forward. "You don't? That doesn't make sense!"
"None of our quirks do."
We keep looking out of the window for a moment. I stand up. "Thank you for having me over. I should get going by now." He gets up, too. "No...it's dark. You should stay here tonight." I roll my eyes. "I am a dragon, Todoroki."
"Shouto."
"What?"
"Call me Shouto while not in public." I feel my cheeks get hotter. "Anyways. I gave you enough trouble." I reach for the door. He grabs my arm. "What do I have to do to make you stay?" He whispers to my ear. I grin. "This." I unlock my phone and text All Might that I wont be home tonight. He doesn't ask why. "Of course he doesn't. You are a dragon." I realize. Shouto gazes in my eyes as I text All Might. We go back to sit on the armchairs. "Oh, wait. I have my book in my other form, oh my..." I mumble. He looks at me. There's something, a feeling I can't sense in this form in his eyes. "What is it?" He asks. "Nothing. I have my book in the black leather bag on my other form, I thought I put it here somewhere." He chuckles. "Does that happen a lot?" I nod. "Come on, y/n. I'll get you to the arena so you can transform."

I follow him out of the room, to the dirt floored arena. I thank him and transform. I fly up to him, watching me from the balcony above. This place is huge. I raise my tail for him to take the book. He opens up the button, and pulls the book out of it. I growl and transform again. "Thank you, Shouto." I say. He only grins and leads me back to his room. He locks the door with ice after we are both inside. "What's that for?" I ask. "I just hate my father. I don't want him walking in on me...or us." I nod before I get way he's suggesting. "Oh my god." I think as it hits my mind. "On the first day?!?"

I read my book alone for a moment, but then Shouto starts reading with me over my shoulder, behind the armchair. I'm so concentrated in reading that I don't even feel his cold hand playing with my hair as we read. He walks around the armchair and scorched me over, and sits next to me. His leg is under mine, so by time we read he slowly pulls me on to his lap.

As I realize what happened, I blush in a light pink colour. I can feel his breathe on my neck.
"The boy held her hand. 'I don't want to be with anyone if I can't be with you, Natalie.'" The book reads. "No..." I whisper, knowing what comes next. "Andre pulls up the blade, and stabs himself. Blood rushes down his chest as Natalie breaks down crying." The book continues. I feel tears on my eyes. "No...no." I whisper. I feel his breathe getting shaken, too.

Then, I feel a cold tear drop on my shoulder. I turn at him, see him crying just like I am. I put the book aside, and hug him. He hugs me back. "I totally understand what Andre did there...." he says. I sob on his shoulder. He is both hot and cold, and it's a nice feeling to hug him. I feel silent tears fall on my shoulder as my tears wet his white shirt, and slowly, he moves my body against his. We hug for minutes. I can feel his heartbeat under his shirt.
